Some of the best food I've eaten in my life simply and freshly prepared, unbelievably delicious, proper Neapolitan food and hospitality. Gino, the host, is warm and wonderful, and the dishes are prepared by his mama', he rings her to request them and they arrive piping hot from her cucina in her apartment across the road. He's rightfully proud that his mother is the best cook in Naples We had zucchini alla brace, calamari with tomatoes, pasta al patate, friarelli... everything perfectly balanced, plates scraped clean and washed down with delicious house white The warmth of the welcome, and the atmosphere of this little place matched the outstanding food We made a mistake with the reservation and booked for the following night at first. Rather than cancel and find somewhere else, we are going back!! There were a Milanese couple eating at an adjacent table who were obviously equally blown away.
