"Not worthy of a Michelin star. I say this based on 2 observations. Michelin is both service and quality. While our server was mostly attentive (and more so once we ordered extremely expensive dishes), they didn’t take our coats (we hung them on the back of our chairs) nor fill our empty water glasses etc. Sounds picky? Sure if it wasn’t Michelin star rated. As for food quality, the appetizers were absolutely delicious. I had carpaccio trio, my family had the calamari, the cuttlefish and the octopus. My daughter says the calamari is “one of the best I ever had” and she orders it at every restaurant that has it on the menu. Here is our biggest caveat: ordering by weight. One spiny lobster with pasta dish will run you more than 250 Euros — it’s a very large portion, no doubt, but we couldn’t help but feel we were being taken advantage. Especially when you order 3 of those dishes for 3 people and end up taking 500Euros worth of lobster home. A Michelin star might have made some suggestions… one of our party ordered the 90 Euro beef that was NOT worth that for quality nor quantity. However, our server did give us lots of “treats” seemingly to assuage the sticker shock of “il conto”. The food was delicious but not worth the price."
