"This wine shop is a must see. The owner, Livio, won the Italian sommelier award in Not the Florence sommelier award, but for all of Italy! He is amazing. A little history... the shop is old and served as a fish market specializing in...bacalao in the The sinks and cutting tables have been repurposed for food displays and tastings. We had a private tasting and it was incredible. Livio is low key, fluent in English and oh so modest. He will not tell you how to hold a glass, sniff the wine, etc... he just eloquently speaks to yin and demonstrates. The food pairings were fabulous and of course, he sells everything in the shop. If you can’t get a private tour, at least make the trip over. The truffle honey, porcini spread, and other delectables can be purchased and savored once you return home."
