"Una volta arrivati a Noto, abbiamo prenotato in questo locale. Non appena siamo arrivati, il personale molto gentile ci ha accolto e accompagnato al tavolo. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di crudo e un antipasto di cotto e crudo su fonduta. Delizioso!!! Passando ai secondi: abbiamo preso sgombro cotto a bassa temperatura. Molto buono! Il tutto accompagnato da una buona bottiglia di vino di una cantina locale, consigliata dal cameriere e azzeccata!! Il prezzo è stato sorprendente!! Pensavamo di spendere molto di più! "Questo ristorante, molto grande, si trova sulla spiaggia a Terragrotto. Anche se il ristorante offre un ampio menu di pizze, il resto del menu offre una vasta selezione di piatti locali. Eravamo ospiti nelle vicinanze e ci è stato consigliato di andarci dai nostri padroni di casa come il miglior ristorante nelle vicinanze. Abbiamo iniziato facendo un errore fondamentale ordinando delle bruschette per ognuno di noi con il nostro vino. La porzione era enorme, 5 pezzi di bruschetta ricchi che erano deliziosi ma troppo abbondanti. Poiché avevamo già ordinato un antipasto da condividere e un piatto principale, eravamo già in difficoltà. Abbiamo condiviso un risotto ai frutti di mare pieno di gamberi, cozze e vongole in un risotto magnificamente cucinato. Era eccellente. Per i nostri piatti principali mia moglie ha preso la pizza ai funghi, che era una pizza a base sottile perfettamente cotta piena di funghi ma di nuovo enorme. Ho scelto i calamari fritti con un contorno di patatine (non sorprendentemente, la porzione di patatine era enorme). Di nuovo, tutto era cucinato alla perfezione. Un membro del personale parlava un po' di inglese, il che è stato estremamente utile. Anche se abbiamo dovuto aspettare circa 10 minuti prima che qualcuno mostrasse interesse nei nostri confronti dopo aver preso l'ordine, il servizio è stato molto buono, disponibile e attento e non c'erano lunghe pause tra i vari piatti. "The Casina Valadier is so called because the great Roman architect Giuseppe Valadier (1762 – 1839) who designed the Pincio, designed and built it. It is a neoclassical style adaptation of a pre-existing 16th century building, construction which began between 1816 and ended in 1837. The three-storey building has a predominantly cubic shape, with the embellishment of an exedra with columns and capitals and pilasters on the building that make it soar. Over time it was subject to many interventions, including by the famous architect Marcello Piacentini in 1919. After various vicissitudes, which also saw it relegated to the modest home of the park keeper and also linked to the events of the Second World War, it has now become a splendid location, with a panoramic restaurant and bar. The structure is used, thanks to the various rooms present, for events and ceremonies. Of great value are the finely decorated internal spaces with archaeological and external remains which are located in a splendid garden, where there is also the suggestive amphora fountain. "Terrible experience, will not be returning. Thought this might have been an isolated event but have read previous reviews and can see that this is symptomatic of the owner’s attitude. Requested the bill and asked where there was a bin so I could deposit a plastic bag which included 2 empty bottles of water plus the empty drink cans purchased in the cafe, as I had thought that it was nice to clear the table. The lovely young waiter replied that he would despose of it no problem and we proceeded to the till to pay the bill and to use the facilities. The owner had an unpleasant attitude and I regret leaving a 15% tip as when we left the owner shouted at the waiter who had obviously been told to return the rubbish to us and we were directed to a public bin. This was highly embarrassing and unnecessary. This has left such a sour taste as this cafe held lovely memories from our previous holiday. I wish I had thought faster and taken the cans purchased in the cafe from the bag and put them back on the table and retrieved the tip that I had left. What a ridiculous way to treat paying customers over 2 small empty plastic bottles, very mean spirited."

"Di passaggio a Spartà decido di prendere una granita con brioche all’unico bar esistente. Aspetto pazientemente che la proprietaria serva con lentezza l’unico avventore che alle 11 di mattina sorseggia una birra Messina. Dopo circa 5 minuti di attesa vengo riconosciuta come cliente ma mi viene detto che non c’è il servizio anche se ha un ragazzo al banco). La granita alla mandorla sapeva di orzata in pochi secondi era diventata acqua) la brioche stantia. Mi è sembrato più che altro il bar dei contadini del posto. Da evitare"

"I miei genitori sono venuti a Sorrento 45 anni fa per il loro anniversario. Mi hanno raccontato che quando erano a Sorrento hanno mangiato del gelato a forma di spaghetti. Quando sono arrivato qui, ho fatto una ricerca su Google e ho trovato questo posto. Ho deciso di ordinarlo per divertimento ed era davvero buono. Ho detto alla proprietaria del negozio, che mi ha detto che i miei genitori devono aver mangiato nel negozio di suo nonno, poiché è l'unico che serve un piatto del genere a Sorrento. "As a loyal customer, I have been coming to this restaurant with my family since I was a teenager, I can say that it is no longer the same. "I took my wife out to an anniversary dinner here while in Venice and it was fantastic. Or female server, I can’t recall her name, was super knowledgeable about the cuisine and helped us every step of the way when we had questions. The food was great and the scallops are to die for. My wife is not usually a fan of pumpkin in the food but with the skill of the chefs they definitely made her surprised and she enjoyed all the dishes. It is pricey with the tasting menu and with an added bottle of wine and put our bill right at 450 euros. However this is not a fine and dash place. It is more of an enjoy the moment and have casual conversations and lasted us around 2 1/2 hours. Would recommend this place to anyone!
