"The food was good but the booking system is a shambles. the hotel has now an online booking system open Table but the person in charge of the daily bookings on the restaurant floor has a paper system. never shall the two systems meet! so when i booked in to the hotel i organised for reception to confirm my reservation. a booking for arrived no table available, an experience shared by other people who had booked. what is clear is that if there are reservations the tables are not set aside. instead the restaurant allows guests to arrive and use available tables regardless. the result is chaos and has got worse over the last few years.after blowing a fuse i finally saw a table and sat at it. it was now typical example of Hoteliers trying to be restauranteurs"

"Sapori italiani e stelle: L'umile esterno di questo ristorante affacciato sul Palazzo Pitti nasconde una bella suite di sale da pranzo con arredi semplici ma eleganti che glorificano l'olio biologico toscano fin dal XVI. secolo è importante per la famiglia del fondatore. Il vino ha colpito un ricco Chardonnay dal nostro cameriere amichevole ben accoppiato con il fantastico trio di acidi del vino che avevo come antipasto, mentre mia moglie è stata trattata con un'interessante sinfonia per pomodori e formaggi. Poi avevo fritto l'agnello che hacking su un letto di verdi con acciughe, mia moglie eccellente Gnocchi e mia figlia un bellissimo Turbot Filet. La nostra cena ha avuto anche un giro di glitter di Hollywood quando abbiamo avuto Jurassic Park Star Jeff Goldblum lì con la sua cena di famiglia. Forse legge anche recensioni come le nostre:"

"Il tavolo prenotato era molto piccolo e non adatto per tre persone. Il cameriere mi ha versato del vino rosso addosso, il maître non si è scusato per il problema. Altri turisti stranieri hanno dovuto lasciare il tavolo per altri clienti. Un altro cameriere mi ha dato un prodotto non ordinato. Il posto sbagliato... mai più."
