"Greeted and seated by the chef as I was a bit early I felt that this place, located in a quiet side street of Padua, has a very nice ambience. The waiting staff was very attentive to the individual needs, which in this case happened to lead to a lovely conversation at the end of the meal. Now for the dishes, I had a seafood tasting menu which featured some of the chef’s new creations, and throughout I noticed the chef’s creative quest to find a delicate balance between tastes and textures. For me the absolute highlights were actually two substitutions I made, namely the first course “Tribute to Italy,” which contains a nice surprise and the dessert “tarte tatin,” which was freshly prepared for over an hour and which was by far the best I ever tasted . The very regional Italian wine pairing was good; a sweet wine at the end was missing. Overall, this was a very satisfying experience at a fair price. Highly recommended, also for Michelin guide reviewers :"
