"I finally got rid of the desire for Pici cacio e pepe (gluten-free of course) and I was surprised, both the cooking and the flavor were perfect. For the second course, grilled lamb with roast potatoes and spinach, and for dessert the Bacio di Siena. If the bread is made by them it's good, I forgot to ask Truly perfect dinner, with a reservation about two hours in advance, and we found a seat, with the staff very kind, helpful and very careful to separate my gluten-free dishes from the others with gluten. "In this restaurant we took the tourist menu for €14, plus a cover charge for €1, the menu included a first and second course of your choice, while the drinks and desserts were separate. We didn't miss anything, we had 2 spaghetti with clams and two Venetian livers with a side of potatoes. Portions not abundant but fair and of good quality, then a bottle of prosecco and water with two desserts for a total of €71.50. Excellent quality/price ratio especially when you are in Venice, and finally friendly and helpful staff."

"A well placed place. The atmosphere is nice. Good quality food and correct portions. For 3 people we ordered an octopus and cod antipasto with polenta. The main courses were Spaghetti with meatballs, seafood soup and black gnocchi with shrimp ragù. Soda, beer and a glass of wine. If I don't rate it with 5 points it is because of the attention of the waitress, it is not at the level of a restaurant with a cost of €50 per person. Ho raccomandato questo ristorante a tantissime persone! Il nostro hotel ci ha suggerito alcuni ristoranti, e Rosa Rossa era uno di essi. Abbiamo trascorso solo 3 notti a Venezia e abbiamo cenato da Rosa Rossa una di queste sere. La nostra esperienza è stata così sorprendente che siamo tornati anche la notte successiva! Ho mangiato in ristoranti in tutto il mondo, ma questo è stato uno dei pasti più piacevoli che abbia mai avuto. Il nostro cameriere, Dionigi, era così affascinante, simpatico e divertente che saremmo tornati solo per interagire di nuovo con lui! Ma il cibo era così delizioso che dovevamo goderne ancora prima di lasciare la città. Dopo aver chiesto quale fosse la salsa sul nostro carpaccio, Dionigi ha detto: "Lasciate che vada a prendere lo chef"... che si è rivelato essere suo figlio! Che prodigio. "Sono inciampato in questo ristorante sull'isola del Lido, alla ricerca di un pranzo di aragosta.. Hanno servito una porzione di mezza aragosta, Abbiamo chiesto se avevano un piatto che includesse la pasta oltre all'aragosta, ha menzionato degli spaghetti con frutti di mare e mezzo astice…. Il piatto di aragosta era saporito, il sugo a base di pomodoro era leggermente dolce e ben condito… la miscela di frutti di mare nel piatto era sufficiente per esaltare il piatto e non trasformarlo in un piatto separato accanto all'aragosta… una quantità di pasta ben dosata per non appesantire troppo… seduto fuori al sole, cosa si può chiedere di più? Buon servizio e cibo dal gusto delizioso"

"Visited in Mid-March '24. This place is open until 6am so we were delighted to find a sit down pizza place after a delayed Ryanair flight! It is very close to Sorrento train station and when we visited just before midnight they still had a few patrons inside. It looks like they also serve pizza by the slice as they had it by the front door and they also have a deli. We were seated straight away and they had a number of options on their menu. My partner ordered their sausage and potato (which we thought was going to be pizza; it wasn 't) though it was definitely listed under pizza. I had the saltimbocca ham and cheese and it was gorgeous. It was Parma ham and fresh mozzarella on toasted homemade bread. They were friendly and welcoming, left you alone (which is ok by us). Few options for drinks too. They used plastic cups/cutlery which we were a bit sus about but I suppose if you have a high turnover then maybe it 's understandable. "We had lunch here on a Wednesday afternoon. No wait. We ordered stuffed fried olives for an appetizer. I personally don’t like the taste of olives. They were not strong tasting, they were delicious and I ate my share. I had the seafood pasta. The sauce had a little bit of spice to it which was perfect. My wife had the seafood sampler appetizer. The plate looked delicious. She enjoyed it all. For desert we shared the pistachio (ice cream? . We enjoyed it as much as our meals. The staff was all very friendly and attentive. "The worst pizza I've ever eaten! Poison! We were served an unleavened margherita/tire and marinara, poorly cooked and with plastic mozzarella. I had asked for a marinara with plenty of garlic and I received a piadina with plenty of cold tomato and flooded with oil. When I pointed out that there was no garlic, the manager of the restaurant, with Sgarbi, replied that they had put plenty of garlic oil and that this is the custom in Venice. It's a shame we've lived here for so many years! And too bad it didn't taste like garlic! We paid a fortune for eating at the limit of what was edible. We have always been very doubtful and heard bad things about it but we tried to give it an opportunity: Strongly not recommended, there are much better pizzerias."
