I already positively reviewed this restaurant months ago which I frequented every time I was in Rome. "Please don 't call me an omnivore, I 'm not a wild boar! So if you haven 't already done so, why not go to the Zenzero restaurant in Ostia in Via Mar dei Sargassi? The Zenzero Restaurant is immersed in the greenery of the Canale dello Stagno Park and offers very refined cuisine with vegetarian (really appetizing) and fish dishes. I have to admit I 've only been there twice for lunch but there will certainly be a third, a fourth and so on. Next time it will be in the evening so I will have the opportunity to taste the pinsas too. The restaurant, as it should be, clearly distinguishes the proposals for vegetarians from those for fish but as always I base my choices on the entire menu because I am curious and I like to try everything. I discovered that eating scialatielli with pumpkin is as exciting as eating scialatielli with basil cream and clams. They are two simply fantastic first courses! Well done! Or if you are equally curious, why not eat a crunchy medallion with a heart of tomino cheese and red cabbage or delight yourself with a very simple fried fish, rich, golden, lots of, excellent. Even among the appetizers you will certainly find your favorite although perhaps I would try to broaden the choice a little for vegetarians. The first time we dined with a perfectly fresh Verduzzo from Trentino and it is perfect for appetizers or even throughout the meal if you want to remain soft . Otherwise you can continue with a sauvignon from Friuli. The place is simple but welcoming, the atmosphere is warm and relaxing, the staff is kind, professional and competent. You will be greeted with many smiles and your requests will always be treated with courtesy and, when necessary, with patience. You can calculate the bill yourself because they have a website with the menu but what you cannot do online is appreciate the quality and beauty of the dishes offered. "Terrible experience My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. After sitting at a table at 9.30pm, a waiter around 10.15pm asked us to move to make room for a reservation for 18 people. Despite this, we patiently waited until 11pm for our pizzas. At 11.15pm we noticed that the people who had sat at our previous table were already enjoying their meals while there wasn 't even a trace of our pizzas. After asking for explanations, at 11.30pm we decided to pay the bill and leave the place. The lady at the checkout, rather than apologizing for the inconvenience caused, insulted us by calling us rags and offensively insinuating who knows what area you come from! ; this attitude is unacceptable and raises several questions: was he perhaps alluding to the fact that coming from a particular neighborhood could denote a lack of education? Can 't those who live in certain areas afford to dine at their restaurant? Ultimately, the only fact is that the poor organization and rude attitude of the staff completely ruined our evening."

Le pizze non erano unte o pesanti. In realtà mi sono sentito bene dopo averlo mangiato. Anche la VISTA era incredibile! Ho apprezzato la posizione e il ristorante in sé era stupendo. Siamo andati intorno alle 12:00 e non era occupato, il che è stato bello. Inoltre, altri italiani sono entrati nel ristorante, quindi è stato un buon segno. Sicuramente lo consiglio per l'esperienza e il cibo."

"Sono andato in un ristorante molto affollato durante le vacanze e devo dire che sono rimasto davvero deluso dall'esperienza. Innanzitutto, ho ordinato quattro piatti da provare. In un'ora ne hanno portati solo due. Il cameriere non è mai tornato al nostro tavolo e si è dimostrato molto più attento agli altri clienti. Dopo aver aspettato a lungo, siamo finalmente riusciti a fermare il cameriere. A quel punto, avevamo avuto abbastanza e abbiamo chiesto il conto. "Il ristorante si trova su una piccola piazza nel centro di Mantova. Ci sono molti camerieri e non si deve aspettare a lungo per il servizio perché il personale è veloce ed efficiente. Abbiamo mangiato tortellini di zucca mantovani fatti in casa con burro fuso, salvia e formaggio Grana Padano come antipasto, che erano molto buoni e in una porzione generosa. Un po' troppo burro per i miei gusti. Il resto abbiamo mangiato spezzatino di manzo mantovano servito con polenta, filetto di maiale cotto a bassa temperatura con barbabietola e filetto di manzo alla griglia. Purtroppo, quello che c'è nel menu non è sempre disponibile (non c'erano carciofi anche se li offrivano come contorno con il manzo). Abbiamo bevuto un litro di vino bianco locale e una bottiglia d'acqua minerale. Complessivamente, il cibo era buono, il vino eccellente e il prezzo forse un po' eccessivo (€122 per tre persone)."
