"In this restaurant we took the tourist menu for €14, plus a cover charge for €1, the menu included a first and second course of your choice, while the drinks and desserts were separate. We didn't miss anything, we had 2 spaghetti with clams and two Venetian livers with a side of potatoes. Portions not abundant but fair and of good quality, then a bottle of prosecco and water with two desserts for a total of €71.50. Excellent quality/price ratio especially when you are in Venice, and finally friendly and helpful staff."

"We were looking for a restaurant for our first evening in Venice. Having seen the ratings for this restaurant, we were tempted. I chose eggplant ravioli. The dish was good, nothing to say. On the other hand, 21€ for 5 ravioli, it looked like a starter which I find really a shame for the price, because 21€ normally you eat a good dish. The waiter on leaving who told us twice that “the service is not included in the bill, it’s up to us to judge”. I find that in a restaurant of this standing, you don't have to indicate anything for a tip. If the customer is satisfied he gives one as simple as that. Reso not up to its grades."

Era così affascinante sedersi lì sulla stretta strada di ciottoli. È possibile ordinare i pasti o scegliere un mix di “tapas” come ho fatto io. C'è wifi ma non il migliore. Il personale è gentile e lei era felice di spiegarmi come funziona l'ordine. Anche se sembravano un po' sparsi. Il cibo andava bene. Alcuni buoni, alcuni non tanto. "I wasn't hungry as it was in front of the accommodation, but I visited for a light meal. There seems to be racial discrimination, or maybe it's discrimination against customers who pay less Maybe it's because the two of us only ordered seafood stew, a side, and two beers. "We had dinner here for my fiancé 's birthday and we were delighted. The place is small but welcoming, the staff always helpful and courteous. It is characterized by a refined cuisine that combines with the Neapolitan tradition. The highest quality products are enhanced by the chef who enhances every aspect and nuance. The evening began with a fried mozzarella but with a very delicate frying to which some bread of their own production was added. We then chose a tasting menu to which we added an appetizer including tartare and fresh fish of the day. We also appreciated the naturalness of the flavors that each dish brought with it, from the appetizer with lemon foam, to the spaghetti with clams and the fried second course. All accompanied with a typical wine recommended by the staff who knew how to enhance the various courses. The atmosphere and quality of the dinner remained constant until the end with a tiramisu to which drizzled coffee was added and a crumble with custard and salted caramel with finally limoncello. "Visiting Le Striatelle di nonna Mafalda has been an experience that definitely deserves to be shared. From the moment you walk through the door of this establishment, you are surrounded by a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home. Although this did not completely detract from the experience, it was an aspect that could be improved. Moving on to the food, I must say that the dishes are exceptional. The spaghetti carbonara, in particular, was prepared to perfection, striking a brilliant balance in its doneness and flavour. It is evident that behind each dish there is a dedication and love for Italian cuisine that deserves to be recognized. In short, Le Striatelle di nonna Mafalda offers a highly recommended culinary experience, with food that really stands out. Although front of house service could benefit from more consistency in enthusiasm and customer service, this doesn 't stop the restaurant from being a place you would definitely want to return to. The combination of a cozy atmosphere, exceptional food and fair prices make this place an attractive option for any lover of good food."

"This place is unexpectedly good. We came down late from watching the sunset and some restaurants already stopped taking in customers but we got a table at Bar Gianni Franzi. We ordered the usual — sautéed mussels and it was not disappointing comparing to multiple places we’ve tried in Italy. The other dish, black pasta in scampi sauce was really tasty with great pasta texture; the scampi shell was so soft that you could eat the whole thing. The portion is just enough, not too much and not too skimpy. Oh and the bread so fresh — lightly crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. Would have asked for more if we were not too full already."

Chiediamo se ci portavano gentilmente almeno le bevande e il pane e se potevamo ordinare, viene il responsabile di sala e ordiniamo alle 13.57 2 antipasti 2 primi e 2 secondi...arrivati alle 13.20 riceviamo gli antipasti alle 14.40 circa...e vabene...per le altre pietanze aspettiamo ancora e un primo arriva sbagliato e mi viene detto che se volevo il primo da me ordinato avrei dovuto aspettare ancora visto che loro preparano i piatti espressi...aspetto altri 15 min e arriva sto primo e mangio...ci lamentiamo un poco educatamente della troppa attesa e il responsabile di sala ci viene a dire che l'ordinanzione era partita alle 13.57, come se fosse stata colpa nostra!! Il cibo era buono ma l'atteggiamento di chi dovrebbe mettere a proprio agio il cliente è stato totalmente inopportuno, visto che non avevamo avanzato nessuna lamentela e l'errore sul primo era stato di chi ha preso la comanda e in più non abbiamo ricevuto nessuna scusa per le ore d'attesa e per l'errore stesso!"

"After years of coming to dinner here I decided it was time to do a review! The restaurant is intimate and nice with always good music, there is not much seating (there are 2 rooms) so I highly recommend booking in advance; in summer a small internal courtyard is also opened. The staff is friendly and the service is quite fast. I highly recommend the spaghetti with clams and, although it is not a fish first course, the bigoli with yellow datterini tomatoes and ricotta are really delicious and very light. If you want to try a typical dessert I recommend the Burano biscuits."
