"we were recommended this restaurant after a tuk tuk tour (apecallesino). our guide explained about clam ropes that grow in the small sea in taranto, so that we asked him to leave us in a good sea-food restaurant. we had to use the QR code on the table to read the menu, okay for me, but not for my man who had difficulty getting the internet on his handy. we passed my phone between us. I really think that QR menus distract from the restaurant experience, please note the restorative! we had only little appetite, so we chose from the starter menu; muscheln au gratin, octopus and a side of the kartoffel frits. served with a broth basket and washed with a few glasses of wine and a bottle of water. eating was delicious and generous for starter size portioning. the bill was about £40, which we thought was the quality of the food. the whole place (including the toilets! was glittering clean."
