"Since going vegan I thought I'd never eat a few specific foods ever again and when I saw Origano had one of *such foods* (aka the Millefoglie) i absolutely had to go and try it. Visually very impressive and extravagant and pretty big, the custard and whipped cream layered on flaky pastry looked delicious! The custard and whipped cream tasted a lot like the unpleasant taste of soy milk, that unsweetened soy earthiness, and the little chocolate chips kept the bursts of cheap dark chocolate flavour in my teeth. It was just quite odd and for any amount of money, in this case €7, the millefoglie just wasn't worth it. I'm really glad I tried it though, but I'd recommend trying a different dessert here like the vegan tiramisù that also looked delicious and is hard to come by vegan. If they read this, my feedback is just to make the curtard and whipped cream sweeter and less soy tasting, and add more flaky layers since that is what makes the millefoglie what it is!
