"The mercato centrale is a lively food hall inside the station. There is a bit of everything and you can find something vegan if you search. We had a thing called trapizzino , the stand is a bit hidden at the very end of the hall, but they had a kind of trapizzino that was veganized for us (no cheese on top basically), which was quite nice and cheap. We also had a pizza marinara at the pizza stand, which maybe was a bit pricey, but very tasty and delicious. And in another stand we had fried artichoke, which was amazing. It was fun to have food from differents places. No vegan desert at all. Also I am not sure all italians know exactly what vegan means, sometimes they think you are vegetarian, so try to be very specific when you say what you can 't eat, or you will find chese everywhere :"
