"Ore 16.00 chiamato per prenotare un tavolo per un aperitivo veloce visto che vestiti da moto e con la moto carica dovevamo dirigerci alle ore 20.00 a prendere il traghetto a Olbia. Quindi tra gli altri locali scegliamo il Mama Beach. Un ragazzo telefonicamente, ci riferisce che possiamo venire quando vogliamo, che c'è posto tanto che non è necessaria la prenotazione per orario di aperitivo. Arriviamo alle ore 18.00, locale praticamente vuoto, e la cameriera ci dice che è tutto prenotato per le cene!! Insistiamo dicendole che avremmo fatto un aperitivo veloce e che avremmo liberato il tavolo entro le 20.00...ma nulla, ci dice che è tutto prenotato. Km e tempo speso inutilmente. Chi cena dalle 18 alle 20?!? Un pò confuso il personale... Sicuramente non torneremo."

"La nostra prima cena in Italia. Pranzare all'aperto con la famiglia, a pochi passi dal Pantheon. Come potrebbe non essere un ristorante da 5 stelle? (Eravamo ancora "storditi" dall'Italia e quindi siamo stati generosi con le valutazioni. Potrebbe questo posto essere definito "trappola per turisti", completo del super scaltro "Hype Man" all'esterno (la nostra prima esperienza con uno, ma di certo non l'ultima)? Ma il cibo era (per lo più delizioso, i prezzi erano solidi e siamo usciti sazi. Cosa c'era di negativo? Era la migliore pizza che avessi mai mangiato? No. (Ma era di gran lunga migliore di molti altri posti nel paese, questo è sicuro. Gli antipasti erano un po' "diversi" rispetto a ciò che ci si aspetterebbe in America? Sì. (Ricevere un enorme piatto con un solo carciofo saltato in una piscina di olio d'oliva incredibilmente saporito non è esattamente ciò a cui siamo abituati... né un piatto di medie dimensioni con solo alcuni pezzi/lamelle di Parmigiano Reggiano. C'era anche una "curva di apprendimento" per quanto riguarda se/e quando dare mance e su come alcuni lavoratori fossero molto diretti nel chiedere/suggerire una mancia, mentre in altri casi non lo facevano. Sicuramente confuso."

Aubergine paramagne was delicious but the focccia to go with it made this so utterly delicious to eat with your finger dipping in the lushness of the eggplant and cheese and tomato sauce. "Aprile 2024 - Il cibo era buono e il servizio veloce. I piatti di pasta sembrano fatti in casa. I posti a sedere all'esterno erano meravigliosi in una fresca serata di primavera. Avevano i riscaldatori e i camerieri erano cordiali. Ho preso i cannelloni ripieni di ricotta e spinaci. Ottimo sapore. Mio marito ha ordinato la carbonara, che è stata servita in una padella fantastica. L'unico difetto è stato quando stavamo pagando il conto: il cameriere era molto insistente per una mancia. È stata una situazione molto scomoda. Il nostro conto è stato di €33,50 per: 2 piatti di pasta a 11€ ciascuno, acqua naturale 3,50€, 1/2 litro di vino della casa 8€."

The Diablo pizza was not spicy at all and the bruschetta was absolutely flavorless. I had to add salt and balsamic vinegar to make it taste like something. And they brought me a cheap spray vinegar. They used some big mealy tomato. Tasted like an old beefsteak. They really should have used a heritage variety for a dish where the tomato was the star. They brought us a little drink at the end of the meal which was a nice touch. But the check had a 12% service charge and they insisted the top was not included. Who was that 12% going to?"
