"Che delusione! Siamo andati su consiglio di qualcuno che conoscevamo. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno chiesto se avevamo il green pass, e noi, in quanto cittadini statunitensi, abbiamo mostrato invece le nostre tessere vaccinali. Il cameriere, che era anche il barista, ci ha subito detto di sederci fuori, e così abbiamo fatto. Un po' delusi, ma ci siamo adattati. A quel punto il ristorante era vuoto, eravamo arrivati proprio all'apertura. Faceva un po' freddo (senza riscaldamenti), ma abbiamo pensato che fosse un ristorante così fantastico che non ci importava. Abbiamo aspettato per 10-15 minuti (ricordate che non c'era NESSUNO) nel ristorante. Il tipo ci ha completamente ignorati, magari odiava gli americani o semplicemente aveva una brutta serata? Non lo sapremo mai, perché ci siamo alzati e ce ne siamo andati, completamente insoddisfatti. Penso che saremmo ancora seduti lì se non fossimo andati via. Peccato non poter recensire il cibo, ma quando si riceve una cattiva energia appena entrati in un ristorante, non si vuole rendere un'esperienza già negativa ancora peggiore!"

"When you‘re dreaming about what you‘d have for secondo if you weren‘t already that full from antipasto and primo (which were all truly excellent by the way) you know that you’ve found the right place to dine!! From the carciofi at the beginning to the lemon sorbet at the end all dishes were absolutely wonderful and a real bargain, as well (the bill was way lower than we expected, given the quality of the food). To round it up, Mauro, our waiter, was not only super attentive but also very kind he even listened patiently to our poor efforts of speaking Italian (though he speaks perfect English). All in all, a definite recommendation when in the Prati neighborhood!"

"A great small street food focused pasta restaurant. There's usually a queue, and it's not open as late as some of the other restaurants in the area. But it's absolutely worth it. We went late the first night and we're told they may run out of pasta before we get in, so returned the following evening. It was lovely. The host has a great attitude and is very funny. Only upstaged by the pasta and the staff inside. I'd recommend any of the pasta dishes, all are fresh and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Portions are generous and you won't go hungry with a pasta dish each! It's a quick stop for food (once you're in) and worth the visit."

"The location of the restaurant, especially outside, is very beautiful because it is positioned under the Corte Sgarzeria, in an important archaeological area of ancient Rome. It's a shame that such beauty is rarely repeated on the kitchen side: I ordered a lasagna mess with pesto, potatoes and green beans, good but a little simple in preparation. The cutlet, on the other hand, was terrible, full of fat, very greasy and with the breading so wet that it separated completely from the meat. "The restaurant's terrace is beautifully located on the canal, you can sit outside for a long time even in spring and late summer, as they have a roof over the terrace. We celebrated our wedding here and can only say the food was excellent. The dishes we chose were not only delicious for us but also for all of our guests. There was enough to eat, starting with the appetizers for the champagne reception, through the starter buffet, to the warm main courses, all high quality and very appealing food. All of our food intolerances could be taken into account and so all the food was gluten free, lactose free and garlic free. The boss and his deputy were very courteous and helpful, the red and white wines they recommended, such as Prosecco, were very good. The drinks at the bar were also just great. Vegetarian options: It wasn't a problem, even the vegans could eat at our wedding without any problems. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, garlic free and lactose free would be absolutely no problem. All dishes served were prepared at our request and were excellent. Kid-friendliness: It was big and we were told that if the children couldn't find anything at our wedding buffet, they would make them something else. They're children, so it's never a problem. Great statement from the management, the children enjoyed eating from the buffet, but the offer was very friendly and we didn't have to pay the personal fee for food and water for the two children, they were just included. Il calamaro fritto sapeva di torta fritta senza zucchero. Un altro punto basso è stato un antipasto chiamato “polpo su pane grigliato.” Il polpo non era male, ma il “pane grigliato” era inzuppato nella salsa del polpo. Quello che avevo in mente erano crostini grigliati e croccanti. E ciò che abbiamo ricevuto era pane molliccio sotto il polpo. Ti consiglio di evitare questo posto."
