"Disappointing Dining Experience at Trattoria Caprese I recently have eaten at Trattoria Caprese and, unfortunately, it was a truly lackluster experience that left much to be desired. From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was met with an ambiance that was less than inviting. The decor was outdated and seemed like it hadn 't been refreshed in decades. The service was abysmal, to say the least. The waitstaff appeared disinterested and inattentive, as if they couldn 't be bothered to serve us. It took an eternity just to get someone to take our drink orders, and even longer for our food to finally arrive. Speaking of the food, it was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. The menu boasted of gourmet offerings, but what arrived at our table was far from it. The dishes lacked flavor, presentation, and any semblance of culinary skill. It seemed like everything had been hastily thrown together without any care or consideration for taste. To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for the subpar quality we received. "Mia moglie ed io abbiamo scoperto questo bellissimo ristorante quasi per caso. La location non è molto grande, ma è molto piacevole. Il menu offre piatti di terra e di mare davvero gustosi. Abbiamo assaporato un antipasto di pesce molto ricco e saporito. Come primo piatto, ti consigliamo le fettuccine all'ammiraglia (un piatto rivisitato del pescatore) che sono davvero deliziose, mentre un dessert veramente speciale è il baba' servito con ricotta e pistacchi tritati, da leccarsi i baffi. Oltre ai piatti che ci hanno davvero soddisfatto, il vero gioiello è il signor Mario, il proprietario, che ci ha accolti, consigliati e coccolati, in modo discreto, per tutta la serata. "This is my first time making a review on Google. I was compelled to do so as I 'm furious with myself after paying for a meal here. The pasta genuinely put the dent in al dente , like eating uncooked ramen noodles. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked, then drowned in flat, sad tomato paste that would make kraft dinner with ketchup seem inspired. I will admit the wine was VERY refreshing (watered-down). After trying to get the server 's attention for what felt like an entire personal purgatory, I simply capitulated, and tried to pay for the uneaten plates of food and 3/4 full carafe of water/wine. However the server decided to twist the dagger by being painfully reluctant to make change. I was uncomfortable. The evening was entirely saved by a pizza from anywhere, as Napoli is amazing, except for trattoria don vincenzo. I love this city. "Eccellente materia prima, ma esperienza deludente. Potrebbe essere stato il momento sbagliato per fermarsi a mangiare, ma era l'unico ristorante aperto in città la sera della domenica di Carnevale. Dopo esserci seduti e aver ordinato da bere (acqua e due bicchieri di vino), abbiamo provato a ordinare del cibo, ma quasi tutti i piatti che volevamo non potevano essere preparati perché mancavano gli ingredienti (secondo loro erano finiti tutto a pranzo), né primi né secondi, niente. L'unica cosa che era fattibile erano i panini. Abbiamo quindi ordinato due panini, uno con salmone e l'altro con gamberi in tempura. Nulla da dire sul pesce, che era molto buono, ma il pane era immangiabile, duro e secco come non so cosa, tanto che non riuscivamo nemmeno a tagliarlo con un coltello. Era super imbarazzante mangiarlo mentre ci guardavano e ridevano di noi per quanto ci sporcavamo cercando di mangiarlo. Il colpo di grazia è arrivato con il conto finale... in due abbiamo speso 55 €. Se prima del conto avessi pensato di dare loro un'altra possibilità, dopo quella esperienza hanno perso ogni speranza."

The pizzas arrived quickly, within 5-10 minutes. The menu offers a wide choice of pizzas, including some specialties such as the amatriciana with buffalo mozzarella, bacon and grated pecorino. You can choose between three types of dough: Neapolitan, Roman or wholemeal. I chose the Roman dough and I have to say it was really good. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Abbiamo pranzato la scorsa domenica per la prima volta. L'agriturismo si trova facilmente con l'ausilio di Maps. Servizio squisito, svolto in piena conformità con le regole anti-covid. Ho apprezzato tutto, soprattutto il Menù stampato e trovato sul tavolo con il cognome della prenotazione, affianco ad un cestino di tarallucci. Lo consiglio per chi ama mangiare del buon cibo, tradizionale, fatto con la mano del cuore e che ricorda la cucina della nonna. Ho conosciuto Mario, il proprietario, una persona gentilissima, di un'umiltà invidiabile, che si è messo a disposizione per ogni evenienza. Ci ha dato l'opportunità di fare il bis di ogni pietanza. Top! È stato tutto gradevole, dall'antipasto al dolce, dal vino all'amaro. Per me uno dei migliori a Sant'Agata dei Goti. 5 stelle stra-meritate. Ci ritornerò sicuramente. Arriviamo alle somme: 33€ a persona a valle della crisi economica Covid19 per questa stupenda giornata è davvero ottimo, tanto è vero che abbiamo lasciato anche un'ottima mancia allo staff.
