"Somewhat hidden in the outskirts of Morbach is the Hotel Restaurant 2tHEIMAT (formerly farmhouse on the cherry tree). The restaurant is simple and modern and has a conservatory. The service staff is very accommodating but not intrusive. Now for dinner: No big menu, but always guaranteed fresh and seasonal products. You can choose between 3- and 4-course menus and assemble them individually. The kitchen is raised and shows this standard also in the presentation of their dishes, all of which are also something for the eye! This standard is also met in any case. Regional products are redeveloped with modern and creative ideas. In addition to the delicious food, there is a wide selection of first-class wines. The prices are completely fine for the performance presented. In my opinion, the best kitchen in Morbach and its surroundings! In summary, I can only make a very clear recommendation for the restaurant. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the hotel, but also its impression makes it a high quality, with which hotel even extended by a great cultivation! The Armbruster family is a great addition to Morbach with its hotel and restaurant."

Sauberes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Personal.Kleines, aber feines Frühstück mit regionalen Produkten, wie zum Beispiel Wurst vom lokalen Metzger, sowie hausgemachtem Gelee und Eier als Muffins.Kommen gerne wieder.

Köstliches Essen! Alle Gänge haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Man fühlt sich durch die herzliche Atmosphäre sofort willkommen. Das Restaurant ist sehr idyllisch gelegen, sodass wir unser Dinner in vollen Zügen genießen konnten.

Teile des Hotels sind im Umbau. Die Zimmer die vermietet werden befinden sich schon im Neuzustand. Eine Lärmbelästigung fand nicht statt. Sehr schöner Frühstücksraum und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Leider hat das Restaurant dienstags geschlossen. Aber es gab genügend Auswahl in der ortsmitte, ein Kilometer vom Hotel entfernt.

Ein sehr einladendes, wunderschön und ruhig am Ortsrand gelegenes Hotel, ansprechend gestaltet, mit einem exquisiten gastronomischen Angebot. Kleine, aber feine Karte, sehr aufmerksames und authentisch freundliches, humorvolles Personal, das in heutigen Zeiten rar ist. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Radtouren, ideal für Ruhesuchende und Naturfreunde. Rooms: 5

Der Name ist Programm.Tolle Lage für Wanderungen. Der Nixenweiher ist meine Empfehlung.Freundlicher Empfang im Hotel.Zimmer grosszügig und sauber.Bad mit Regenfalldusche.Bett ok. Ein Kissenmenue fehlt.Internet mit leichten Geschwindigkeitsproblemen.Frühstück sehr gut. Reichlich Auswahl.Hausgemachte Marmeladen im Programm. Toll.Eigene Kornflockmaschine. Unfortunately, we cannot share the obviously good experience of some guests. Our group had the impression of being annoying customers already at (too early) arrival. This has not changed during our stay. The boss and your husband had no kind word for us, a welcome and a smile were not to make. In addition, the very small interpretation of booking methods and a tone lacked any customer friendliness. The rest of the staff was pleasant, friendly and attentive, the breakfast and the rooms were not challenged. Nevertheless, due to the somewhat peculiar behavior of the owners: less recommended for us.

We spent some relaxing days in this hotel with a small group and were very positively surprised! We felt very welcome and enjoyed the beautiful and friendly family atmosphere very much. The rooms were very nice and especially absolutely clean and with a large balcony you best always ask for rooms overlooking the magnificent valley in front of the hotel). The breakfast buffet was very extensive for a 3-star hotel. The hotel's restaurant is particularly remarkable. Small card with fresh, tasty dishes and also on every day a very creative and affordable 4-course menu. All in all a very nice hotel with friendly staff and a dedicated host couple. We would recommend the hotel at any time...

"... was not so easy! My father's cousin traveled with his wife from Westerwald to Morbach to fire the grandson in the afternoon at a football match. A nice opportunity to meet us. My approach to Morbach is not far. The search for a restaurant on Sunday afternoon was not easy. It should meet as much as possible a meal according to our taste and also the opening hours had to fit. A small selection made the decision about the host house to the villagerug. The restaurant is located in the “Kirchen Mettler House” around the turn of the century in the centre of the small village. My phone reservation for early noon was confirmed friendly and uncomplicated. Alfredo Paredes was probably the one who leads the restaurant together with his partner Britta Steck. Shortly before the family I arrived in Morbach and parked a bit away in a free public parking lot. Arriving in the restaurant, I was kindly greeted. And a minute later the Westerwälder arrived. Dreamy weather in October, almost you could have eaten outside. But not only in the Westerwald is the wind so cold. No, that day in Morbach. The table reserved for us was unfortunately the worst place in the middle of the room, right in front of the counter. Small table and also very restless. Fortunately, the switch to a quieter table was possible on request. The restaurant is cozy. Hunsrück's moving landscapes are the recently freshly decorated walls. The seats have come clearly in the years. Clean and well maintained was the plant. In service were the boss, an experienced service worker and a young funnel. The handwritten document was discussed between the young employee and the boss and counted several times with the calculator. There was a lot of confusion. Not only behind the counter, as I realized now: Only the 4,00 € cheaper Hirsche Goulash was calculated instead of the Hirsche Back Steak. The drinks prices were pretty cheap. But even on the handwritten note, I do not see how the beverage prices should be allocated. That was a nice little family meeting with a very friendly inn. When the opportunity appears, I would like to return here. Also in summer I like the outdoor area on the market square in front of the house. And tonight there's fried pepper with us.
