"500 Degrees - Brixton is a fantastic new addition to Fardale Road. I finally had the chance to visit last night and wasn’t disappointed. The quality of the pizza ranks among the best wood-fired pizzas I’ve had, alongside places like Franco Manca and Pizza Pilgrims, but at a much more affordable price. The classic pizza was absolutely delicious, the menu offered a great variety, and the staff were attentive and friendly. I truly hope this place thrives. Recently, the Brixton end of Fardale Road has seen a bit of a revival, with some major businesses opening, and in my opinion, this spot is leading the way. You won’t be disappointed."

I recently dined at this lovely bistro/cafe in Brixton for a casual meal or takeout pizza. My husband, son, and I ordered three different pizzas and a goat cheese salad, all of which were delicious. The pizzas were cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven and had excellent dough and toppings. The prices were reasonable and I would highly recommend this place. Additionally, the owner was very friendly.

I’m tempted to give this restaurant less than 5 stars just to be different, but I can’t ignore the fact that they serve delicious, traditional Italian-style pizzas with generous, high-quality toppings cooked in a wood-fired oven. The Croydon location is especially impressive—if not better—since I was able to enjoy a full pint of Moretti beer there, unlike at the Brixton branch where my pint was poorly poured with an excessively thick foam head.
