"We were in Rome for 5 days, hubby fancied an Indian and we found this restaurant. The reviews looked good apart from the odd negative review. We called the restaurant for directions and opening times and where advised to come after 9pm as they have functions at the restaurant which they needed to cater for. We arrived at the location and the hospitality was lovely. We ordered drinks and starters. My Hubby wanted kebabs but we were told that they didn’t have any so he settled for the chicken legs. Once the chicken arrived it tasted like it was heated up and was not fresh. The chicken was dry and tasted like it’s been reheated,And cold inside. I ordered the paneer pokra and it was tasty and fresh. We order brown dhal and rice for mains and that tasted OK. My hubby still fancied fresh kebabs and we advised the owner what we wanted and were assured that he will have this ready for tomorrow evening. We were advised to come after 9pm as they had another function at the restaurant. The next evening we arrived at the restaurant and my husband was incredibly excited about having fresh kebabs. The kebabs arrived to our table very quickly (within. 5 mins). To my husband’s shock he was presented with chicken kebabs and not the mince kebabs. When my hubby questioned this the owner stated that they did not have time to buy the meat as they had been very busy with the function earlier in the day. My hubby said why didn’t you tell me you didn’t have them as I would of not ordered it. I ordered my self some onion, potato pokra and they tasted nice. My Hubby’s main dish was butter chicken which again tasted like it had been reheated. The only fresh item my hubby ate was the naan bread. The owner had questioned why my hubby had left half of the chicken kebabs and my hubby said he don’t like chicken kebabs, and the owner also stated that they might of not been cooked properly, as my hubby said they were cold from inside. I asked my hubby wats wrong he said it tasted like they were reheated again. The owner realised my hubby didn’t like them and gave us the whole meal on the house as my hubby felt he knew he was wrong. The service was rushed on both days. We have eaten in top places never had reheated food given to us and then get lied to about not going to the market to pick up food, where my hubby was told he will have it ready for him, the worst thing we traveled about 45 mins from our hotel to get to him and was presented with reheated food, my hubby believes if you have a function why open your restaurant up for 2 hours to be rushed around and food which had no taste,cold and reheated. I was going to recommend this restraunt to my family who are arriving in a few days but I think twice before I do that. Overall hospitality has been fabulous food was a big big let down,me and my hubby will not be visiting this restaurant again,once fair play but 2nd time same thing again. I asked my hubby what he felt about the decor he described it like, very dated,cold needs a good revamp. Please don’t get us wrong the service the hospitality was fabulous but we was there for food and that was a big let down."

Cibo molto gustoso e servizio cordiale! Consiglio vivamente il paneer al burro e il naan all'aglio. Sicuramente tornerò quando sarò di nuovo a Roma.

Luckily this restaurant is very close to the where i stayed in Rome. Food is very tasty and a great conversation with the founder of this hotel. Masala Chai on house was a treat to my taste buds.

Misguided on opening hours, we went all the way from one side of the city to this restaurant, and found closed thought it's still showing open at 8:09 pm 24th December 2023. Phone number mentioned on their site not working also. Really very saddened.

great, great, great food. It’s always a great sign when you see people from India dining at an indian restaurant. i ordered another portion of appetizers because it was just too good; the lamb curry was the best i have ever had and i’ve done a fair share of travelling. I am going to be a regular here from now on, the owner is also really kind and hospitable. much love.

Needing a tastebud reviver on New Year’s Day we sought out this place for lunch, more in hope than expectation, but it was a delightful surprise. The smells that greeted us on walking in were mouthwatering, as was the food which followed. We had a mixed starter, a lamb vindaloo, a chicken tikka and a peas and mushroom side dish, all of which sang with flavour. Everything at very reasonable prices and accompanied by cheerful, friendly and efficient service in a very pleasant environment. The chicken tikka deserves a special mention… one of the best I have tasted in a long time.

Mentre studiavo a Roma per il semestre primaverile, cercavo ovunque del buon cibo indiano. Avevo provato circa 10 posti e non ero per niente soddisfatto. Sono capitato da Annapoorna con degli amici dopo una lezione, e siamo rimasti tutti sbalorditi. Siamo stati accolti con un caldo benvenuto dal cameriere, l'interno era bellissimo, e soprattutto, il cibo era indescrivibile, semplicemente incredibile. Io e i miei amici non smettevamo di parlare di quanto fossero freschi, saporiti e avvolgenti tutti i piatti a un prezzo così conveniente. Consiglierei sicuramente questo posto a chiunque voglia vivere un'esperienza culinaria unica e memorabile a Roma!

We ordered take out one night and the food was so delicious, that we stopped back in the next night when returning from a busy day sightseeing. Food was absolutely delicious and the owner was hospitable, friendly and nice to chat with. We ordered Chicken Tikka Kabobs, Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Chana Masala. Everything was amazing! The owner brought us some complimentary appetizers and we loved everything. Pleasant quiet atmosphere were stopped in at 10 pm. We found the food to be very affordable, too. We would definitely eat there again, and were sad that we only discovered this gem on our next to last night in Rome. Highly Recommend!

We went here based on the reviews we read and I wish we hadn’t bothered as I was served raw chicken not once but twice and I could have been very ill. My husband tried to order a madras or a Jalfrezi and was laughed at, I tried to order the lamb chops and was told no as they take too long to cook. I ordered tandoori chicken, and when it arrived I took my first bite only to find it cold and jelly like, when I looked it was completely raw, I told our server who took the plate with one piece of chicken but left me with the other raw piece of chicken on my plate, which didn’t make sense!
