Very average overpriced Full Brekafast for £14. Rubber mushroom, bland scrambled unseasoned eggs. Ok bacon sausage. That's it?

As with every visit, absolutely lovely food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. We have visited several times for breakfast and lunches never disappointed. We will be back soon!

Came in for some afternoon lunch. Lovely ambience, love the music, staff were super friendly and decor was great too. The food, WOW! Would 100% recommend to come here. Big thank you to Amali and Lucas who made our experience here a memorable one.

Not greeted with a friendly face or tone. Food was ok but I believe that when eating out that all factors should be considered. The toilets were dirty and same sex toilets which I didn’t feel comfortable with at all. I won’t be returning . Photo attached upon entering. They should be checked and cleaned regularly. It’s clear they aren’t.

I booked a table for 7.30 which worked well as it wasn’t too busy. We ordered five small plates between the two of us and shared them. This was more than enough. The service was fantastic. The staff seemed really well trained. The food was lovely. Our favourite was the rice balls. I’m vegetarian and everything had so much flavour and was beautifully presented. Visualizza piatti

Been a few years since we last visited, still seems busy, but was did stand out was the prices, too pricey for average simple breakfasts , small portion sizes too and £3.90 for a latte(service charge on top too) just too much sorry….. feel like need to make their mind up to mange costs they are having to manage- either through higher price smaller portions- but not both!…., staff were lovely and attentive

I’m gonna be honest. I haven’t been here for a while. And all my previous visits have been lunches with small children. I was like, aye canny. Not amazing, not bad. I was invited tonight by some good friends family. We had a ball. The place was buzzing. Great early ‘live’ music. Excellent atmosphere. The food was absolutely superb. And, I never say this lightly. The owners were happily mingling with their well known clientele, having a great time. I loved that. As you can probably glean, I had a great night.

We don’t visit Jesmond too often but when visiting a nearby shop, we thought we’d have a light lunch nearby. There are several eateries on and near Brentwood Avenue. This Friday lunchtime, Arlo was easily the most popular and we managed to get a table without reservation (just! . It’s an urban chic vibe a bit like the smarter London suburbs. Nice decor, buzzy atmosphere and very friendly staff. The menu is quite varied. We shared a salmon salad and loaded fries enough for a light lunch. I’d say that the food was ‘just ok’.
