Just across from our apartment, we stopped here just because it was close. Ordered foie gras de cunard, onion soup and duck confit. Heaven, I kid you not. House rose' was most refreshing after the heat of our walking and in the heat wave here in June. Waiter kept our water bottle full to the brim which was refreshing. Definitely will come back here.

Across the street from my rental, i had several meals during my extended stay. the menu is typical french but less heavy, a selection of great salads, lovely service and a mature comfortable crowd. If you find yourself at the end of Cheche Midi after a day of shopping at Le Bonne Marche, stop in the cafe, sit outside and watch the world go by in authentic french neighborhood between the 6th, 7th and 15th. No pretenses, nothing precious, just good food, great staff. And who doesn't want to go to a restaurant called .... dog who smoked? the humor is reflected in the staff.
