"No signage visible at night. I thought it was someone's residence but my husband went by the GPS. We were greeted right away and the waiter took our coats and hung them up and took us to our table. This was on a Wednesday evening. Not very crowded. They did have a English menu which we were grateful. Also the waiter spoke good English. I would have LOVED to do the tasting menu but my husband is not as adventurous with eating. I could have still done it if he didn't order the tasting menu but the prices are more expensive.I ordered the Lasagna. Husband ordered a pork dish. We had red house wine that was really good.My Lasagna was hard to cut thru top layers of noodle. I think because of the cheese on top makes it harder. Being from the USA I was also missing more of the tomato sauce. It was a little on the dry side from what I am used to. Husbands dish was much better. It came with mixed veggies and roasted potatoes. He let me try all of his. For two meals, bottle of water and red house wind about 48 Euros.Our waiter was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend, but I would try something else on return trip (not the Lasagna). Looks like they have plenty of parking but we parked out on main streets because we didn't see any signs for restaurant. The woman's bathroom/toilet were very clean. They have mouth wash and actual towels to dry your hands with. The restaurant appeared very clean."

"Everything worked fine with the reservation, our wishes were liked. The service staff was super nice and charming. The dishes came fast. It tasted great. Authentic hessian traditional gastronomy in a beautiful work Old Town with a view of the castle. We look forward to the warmer season to enjoy a stay outside."

"We were in the trattoria at Christmas, beautiful location, food prices relatively high, but the quality was right and the kitchen is innovative. We were welcomed very nicely. It is a shame, however, that you were not offered a drink on the house with a relatively high bill with generous tips. But all in all, very recommendable, will go again"

"Good Service- Nice Ambiance- Not so great Food Quality. For the area it is in (industrial/ airport) the atmosphere is really transforming. Eating outside on the patio you wouldn't even think you are in the industrial part of Frankfurt. The tables are quality, sturdy and stable, the umbrellas make you feel like your in German Beer Garden. The staff was very friendly, spoke English and attended to us and our baby in a very kind manner. The only down side was the food quality. We had the calamari, the Chicken with spinach cream sauce penne pasta and the bruschetta. The pasta was well cooked and the cream spinach sauce tasted great, however the chick tasted over cooked and "stale". The calamari was late coming out but wasn't bad... however the salad it came with was soggy and wilted. Overall it has potential but it was not great! Might be a good place for drinks outside (if your in this area... but I wouldn't go out of your way to visit this place.)"
