"We 've been visiting the TLH site for many years but haven 't eaten at this bisto before our most recent stay. We didn 't get exactly what we ordered. I asked for halloumi fries but received a halloumi salad. Not ideal but not too much bother. We ordered Kids spaghetti which was as expected although the drink included in the children 's meal didn 't materialise. No big deal. Lastly we ordered 2 pizza. 1 cheese and tomatoe and 1 pepperoni. The pepperoni wasn 't pepperoni but was actually salami. Not ideal but no big thing I ate it as was hungry and cured meat is cured meat. The cheese pizza was awful. The cheese was obviously cheddar. The taste and the fat content do not befit the authentic Italian product being promised. We couldn 't eat anymore that 2 slices between 3 of us so we sent it back. I have never ever sent food back before. Never. I didn 't mention the halloumi error as it was a simple mistake. I asked for a refund on the cheese pizza and also mentioned that the pepperoni was actually salami. They apparently do not have salami in their kitchen. The pink colour and taste tells another story. I 've been married into an Italian family for over a decade so I 'd stake my life on being able to identify pepperoni from salami. But as before no big deal it 's a simple mistake to the untrained eye. I live in a large cosmopolitan city and make allowance for small towns not getting European foods completely authentic. A refund for the cheese pizza was given. The price of a cheese pizza was £10 and pepperoni £13 OR 2 for £20. I was refunded only £7 as the offer saving vanished. This wasn 't a big deal. BUT, the kicker was in the look that the manager gave the server when she rang this transaction through the till. So we 'll only refund this much she whispered and smirked. I 'll still visit the hotel but I 'll give this place a swerve. Domino 's is only a short walk away and although not authentic Italian it is much closer to the mark. For the record I wasn 't condescending when returning the food I was friendly and tried to be constructive. It was clearly not welcome. I was careful not to say any of what I said in earshot of other patrons as it wasn 't for them to hear. If you 've read to the end of this review I hope you have a great day."

Dear Aztecs. On Sunday evening for Din and Din. Good to find a place where all facilities are open. Enjoyed the meal and they even catered for our dietary needs. I would definitely recommend Aztec's.

Lovely coffee and meals to suit all. Love the aztec theme. A warm a low lit feeling. You can overlook the pool, which is relaxing too. A lovely place to meet friends and family. Also, outside dining area in good weather

I really enjoy dip and dine, lovely clean pool and area. Great food, the staff are lovely too. There is only one thing, I do think the staff need training with the coffee as my latte and my friends cappuccino both looked like ordinary coffee and had no froth on top.But otherwise a great place.

Went for a Christmas meal here after seeing the Turkey and Tapas offer. Had 6 with us so got the whole menu, everything was cooked fresh and tasted great. The roasted potatoes, stuffing and pigs in blankets definitely get a special mention. Don't let the 4 star rating put you off, generally don't do a 5 star for anything

Disgusting food and dirty place !First we tried to find a clean table but we could’t so I tried to clean one with my own hand wipes but everything was dried on like it was not cleaned for days. Ordered a brie and cranberry panini it was soaked with soo much jam I could not eat it at all. My husband burger with home made patty was obviously not home made… unless someone considering a factory a home. My daughter fish fingers were so dry and burnt she could not eat it. We spent money and went home hungry. Skip this place unless you like to eat bland food on high price in a dirty place.

Seems to be getting worse and worse. Myself and my husband used to be regulars for about 5 years. Last few months we stopped eating here because dip'n'dine is a rip-off these days. All the nice things from the dip'n'dine menu have been removed and I actually don't like any of the things left on that menu, same goes for my husband. Last time I ordered pasta with mushroom sauce and it was vile. The mushrooms were whole, all the dish was swimming in oil and was tasteless. I had to add loads of salt to make it taste at least bearable! That dish costs 12 pounds but I wouldn't even pay 5 ever again. The place is always dirty, sticky tables, carpet with food mashed in it, tables with stuck food. It...

"From the off, everything was bang on point. The warmth of the welcome, being taken straight to our table and offered water and an aperitif promptly. We, a party of three, opted for the set lunch, which offers very good value for money. £29.50 for two courses, £35 for three, with two options for each course. Two of us opted for the baked Roscoff onion with pearl barley. Simple ingredients but beautifully cooked with a truly sublime brown onion sauce of such intensity, it lifted an already lovely plate of food to another level. The other person had the ponzu cured mackerel which she pronounced lovely but she had serious food envy over the onion dish. The main courses were grilled hake, which again was sauced to perfection and a grilled bavette with a vegetable medley and a pea? puree and a meat jus. We added a small dish of dauphinois at £5 which complimented everything very well. We drank a good and reasonably priced Rioja Blanco. No room for dessert sadly. This restaurant is not cheap but there is a difference between cost and value and The Elephant offers very good value with the set lunch; it allows you to sample really very good cooking at a price that will not break the bank. The normal a la carte menu is around double the price but on looking at what this offered, I would say that it again offers good value for money, being a step up in choice with more expensive ingredients. This is a serious restaurant. Go there. You will not be disappointed."
