Toll gelegen um einen Spaziergang am Rhein ausklingen zu lassen. Ich hätte mir jedoch eine grössere Torten- oder Kuchenauswahl gewünscht.

Great place to pick up brot brotchen. Always fresh has a great variety. One of my favorite go to places especially for breakfast or when you need bread for dinner!

Passed by for a quick sandwich for breakfast while at the mall and was met with an unfriendly staff, a very limited number of available sandwiches that seemed old. Not recommended

Stopped in just to get a couple of pretzels to take back to the states, they seemed fresh despite it being the end of the day (they close around 6:30) and can't beat the prices of $1 per pretzel! Wish I had a chance to sample some of the other breads earlier in the day.

Ich kenne das Backhaus schon länger, weil ich im Schröers in der Mainzer Straße Kunde bin. Das Geschäft in der Wiesbadener Fußgänger Zone ist relativ neu, aber etwas versteckt. Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und die Brotauswahl ist überwältigend. Von der Backwaren-Qualität bin ich wie gesagt schon länger überzeugt. Das kräftige Marktlaib ist mein Lieblingsbrot. Auch die Baguettes sind sehr gut. Man kann hier auch schön sitzen, draußen wie drinnen und frühstücken. Der Kaffee ist auch sehr gut. Es gibt nicht mehr viele echte Bäcker, Backhaus Schröer gehört dazu.

Habe zum spontanen Frühstück bei Freunden Backwaren und 3 große Cappuccino gekauft. Die Croissant & Brötchen waren echt lecker.Nur der Cappuccino schmeckte bitter. Als wir die Plastik-Deckel öffneten, haben wir entdeckt warum. Die Milch war klumpig / flockig - also sauer / verdorben - der Cappuccino ungenießbar. Ich habe das später im Laden reklamiert. Meine Erwartung: Eine Entschuldigung und Geld zurück. So etwas kann - darf aber nicht passieren, umso wichtiger kundenfreundlich zu reagieren.Stattdessen patzige Reaktion der Verkäuferin: Das kann nicht sein, Mindeshaltbarkeitsdatum der Milch gezeigt, Geld zurück geht nicht, da müsste sie in der Kasse den Bon suchen. Nicht mal eine Entschuldig...
