"The restaurant “Hubertus Eck” has been in Schöneiche for many decades, on the southeastern border of Berlin. After 1990, a steak house with a new name was built from the German restaurant, then an oriental restaurant, then again a German restaurant and now an Indian restaurant with the “Hubertus Eck”, which is now called “Badshas”. In the meantime it was closed for weeks and months. The location is mercilessly unfavorable: pure residential area – usually one and two-family houses, no connection to the ÖPNV, no running customer base – because there is nothing why Ausflügler or Touris are lost here, no indication at the main road half a mile away. The next tram stop of the SRS is far away. I also went back this time because I actually went to Gans for Christmas and see if the German restaurant still exists – there is not, see above. Since I like Indians and also had cabbage steam, I’m in the “Badshas”, which means “the guests are the rulers” according to service power, as the waiter told me with a eye-catcher. The interior of the guest room has not changed much. The discreet German decoration was replaced by an equally discreet Indian decoration. And from the music system, the German pop of percussion no longer bursts, but permanent Indian music – in the long term, very necessary for German ears and a little nerve for a long time. In summer there is a large terrace. The service was very attentive, friendly and nice. The map is very extensive and includes dozens of dishes of Indian cuisine: appetizers, salads, main dishes, desserts – most between 9 and 15 €uro, plus a changing weekly ticket. I chose “Fish Punjabi” (Rotbarschfilet, Paprika, Onions, tomatoes, sharp red curry sauce, rice for €11.90. For this purpose there is a small mixed salad that is common throughout Germany and usually consists of iceberg salad. Before the food came out as a greeting from the kitchen 3 dipped with flat bread – I love it, very delicious. The food came to the table after a normal waiting period. Unlike elsewhere, not only three or four fish pieces made their free float in the sauce, but there were dense quantities in the bowl: a lot, a lot of fish for the hungry guest. So I got tired and tasted it too. However, I did not find the attribute “sharf” at the otherwise delicious curry sauce. I thought very mild. Then a soft fruit juice liqueur was added to the house. Update 8.1.2020: Today chicken banglori (share, with paprika, ginger and spices for 12,90 €uro tasty, also the small salad. And the sharpness has now also voted! Conclusion: Good Indian restaurant, as I find. You're welcome. Update 5.8.2020: After the Corona forced break, the Badshas has opened for a few weeks. With reopening, the dishes have become somewhat more expensive (in my plate 8% and the part slightly smaller. You're still getting tired!"

"since 1.1.2020 there is a new administration of taverna. the previous operator family had to give up at the end of 2019 for private and health reasons. the new management took over the menu and the cook so that eating did not change much: tasty and sufficient. the prices are in the rule between 10 and 20 €. the restaurant has 2 Greek dining rooms and a summer terrace, partly covered. the device was largely taken over. only the Greek-white-blue-cartated tablecloths (which somehow always reminded me of the NVA bed linen) were exchanged for identically patterned in white-green. Unfortunately, the new operator does not have much time to earn money: corona came from China to europa and Germany – they are known: weeks of enticing with the entire gastronomy. After the im-house nomination had been cancelled, the normal card was returned with changed opening times: now the whole week is open from 12 to 23 clock. the quality and the amount of eating the Greek cuisine is still very good too good. which has suffered in my eyes but is a bit the pleasant atmosphere. it was almost familiar friendly among previous operators, now it is quite cool business. update: next to the standard card there are also always day offers. on 11.11.2021 for example fresh grilled dorade with grilled vegetables. for someone who doesn't like to submit whole fish in the restaurant himself, this activity takes on request a service performance. has tasted well, but at 23,50 €uro was not a very good fun, especially since a saturation supplement was not intended for this fish dish."

"once there were more than half a dozen large degassing stations on the large and small mosquito lake in the southeast berlins. two of them have remained: “New Holland” in müggelheim at the eastern influx of the mosquito in the small lake of Munich and “number of strokes” at the large lake of Munich. since the opening in 1897, the new Helgoland flight is located in the family Fröhlich/Tabbert (4th generation). end 19 years the local jwd (janz far outside). the guests had to walk far or get out of berlin, köpenick and frittrichshagen with exhaust steamers or from rahnsdorf with a ferry. Therefore, “New Holland” had a separate landing for steam from the beginning and the ferry as well as a small kai for sports boats/water converters. that's how it stayed. müggelheim has expanded to some 100m today. there is an access and a bus stop at the rande des villages müggelheim. first it was a place with service and a large beer garden. not everyone could afford a restaurant visit over 120 years ago. in addition, the wine should pay after the will of the Prussian staates beverage concessions. but they did not want to do this, and so the business idea “Here can cook families coffee” was born around 1800: the guests brought themselves to the food and coffee powder, which was only awarded with hot water, which was sold and the guests brewed in the local coffee. this business model worked in the 20th century. in the GDR period, the beer garden was largely switched to self-service. at several points of sale in the side wing they stood for a few infinitely long after, hot meals, drinks, ice cream, coffee and cake. In the 1980s, “New Holland” was also classified as a discotheque, along with dance events, concerts of well-known and less well-known artists and groups and other cultural events took place. After 1990, the company became increasingly involved in gastronomy. concerts and cultural events have been and will continue. in this time the coffee tourists also discovered the restaurant because of its large spaces and the far away of the place, because the victim client could not escape so easily. the end of the historic restaurant came on the new year 2002. completely burned down by a branding of still unknown “new-Helgoland”. by unprecedented assistance and support from the city quarter, insurance, by guests, artists, architects and construction companies, “New Holland” was rebuilt in the same year in historically advanced style and reopened for the year 2002/2003. during the rebuilding, “New Holland” was extended to the restaurant and the hotel. in juli 2017 the house was damaged again by a heavy fire. the fire of a burning müllcontainer had attacked the house. whether branding or negligence has not been clarified. back was supported by tabber family as after the 1st brand. at the beginning of December 2017, the restaurant was able to reopen the hotel at the beginning of 2018. the next heavy crisis that “New Holland” met like all other gastronomy companies in Germany were the corona lockdowns with months-long closure. now in juli 2021 at least the gastronomy is re-run. for the time there is a masking obligation up to the table and contact data delivery via luca app or sheet. in the best summer the large beer garden was very well visited and also the large valleys in the inner empty. thanks to the numerous service offered no waiting times. the menu came immediately and the orders were received immediately. the drinks came fast, eating after normal waiting time. the map is not too extensive and offers mainly dishes of the good-bourgeois German cuisine in the middle to slightly elevated price segment. in the offer are also some vegetarian dishes, ice cream, coffee and cake as well as hot and cold, alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks. there are also seasonal additional offers – our visit was economical. we decided to save gel (200g) with zanderfilet and kartoffeln for 19,50 €uro. the quality was good, even if the spatula had worn a few minutes longer in the cooking pot and 200g are also quite clear on the plate. the sauce hollandaise was not picked over the oyster, but placed in a separate vessel. has well tasted and space for an ice cream beaker was then also in the bauch. they must sit in the beer garden, but they must live with the exhaust gas tank of the outgoing ships and internal combustion engine sports boats. the ferry doesn't stink anymore. the operator, the white fleet stralsund, uses electric ferry. a note for carmobile guests: the parking situation is especially precarious in summer. there are some parking spaces on the farm of the restaurant and a few more in front of the restaurant area. but the few parking options are not enough for the “New Holland”, the adjacent Italian restaurant and the large bathroom on the small lake. and warned before parking on the edge of the road. there is no parking because of the forest and because the road is retaliated and fired. and the police like to control and distribute as much as they can – leave them tow."
