"Hours state open till 4, not the case, door was unlocked etc, nothing to suggest it's closed, eventually told its closed and I explained everywhere including your door says you're open. Looked at me like I was an inconvenience and like the error was my fault. Came out to Southwick specially to visit said bakery only to be treated poorly by staff who didn't even have the decency to apologise for the error in closing times. They even still had stock on the shelves so would not have even been a hassle to serve me (maybe they wanted the produce for themselves or didn't care it would be going into a bin). I won't attempt to supply them with business again, no matter how great my friends say their stuff is. Certainly won't be reccomending them."

Impossible to get any TooGoodToGo bags from here, as if someone has a robot to purchase all the bags within millisecond. I loved getting food from this bakery but only if I got them through food waste saving platforms.

We love going to Bake Out for a baked potato lunch and a coffee. The lunch is very tasty and the coffee a really nice blend and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. Its also dog friendly which is important to us. We will remain regulars for sure! :

Staff are amazing here feels proper local and they actually value your custom the food choices are very goood from hot and cold snacks to fresh baked products and the coffee is good and strong. This place is more than just a cafe bakery. Yes they have delicious baked goods, tasty drinks and wonderful service but what really stands out is that it's a place for people to come together. You often see the same people enjoying the bakery's offerings whilst chatting, laughing and experiencing the community that has been formed. It makes my heart smile. The hardworking team that keep people fueled with food, drink and a friendly face are just fabulous and make a positive impact each day. Thank you.

Atrocious attitude displayed towards us, 2grannies, 67 and 67 yr. old and our grand children, boy and girl 3/5 yrs old. We were treating them after school. 3 hot choc, a scone, a delicious biscuit and tea, total £17.00+. Quite good quality food and service until my grandson spilled his chocolate. I was annoyed, but he is a child. I offered to clean up, by mopping up with tissues, which i did. The staff were unhelpfully unwelcome at this point. No prentention of sympathy or understanding was made. And certainly no thanks for my cleaning up.
