"One of our favorite dining experiences in Germany. This small little restaurant has just one hostess serving the tables and bar and a chef in the kitchen, but we felt so well cared for and had a delicious meal. The menu is written on a chalkboard and since my husband and I don't speak any German, we were at first just going to order blindly. When the waitress realized we didn't speak German, she literally explained every dish on the menu to us! It was so sweet and thoughtful of her, we couldn't believe how much trouble she went to. My husband ordered the pfeffersnitzchel and it was his favorite dish that he had in Germany. He loved it so much that we learned how to make it on our own when we got back to the states. The meals also came with salads, which after a few days of meat and potato-heavy German dishes, we were very grateful for! Dessert was a white chocolate mousse—I don't even like white chocolate, but this was heavenly. Everything, including the drinks, was wonderfully affordable and we ended up spending most of our night eating and drinking here and just enjoying the atmosphere. The chef came out from the kitchen a few times to chat with customers and bring out his favorite dishes. The atmosphere was very warm, friendly and inviting and the food was spectacular."

This wet a wet night and most restaurants were empty. Then we came across Bar Fiaker. The place was full, the bar busy but we were welcomed and sat at the bar with a beer waiting for a table to come free.The menu is limited but we had the steak which was very good. Wines are very economically priced and the waitress was fantastic.A lovely, small and authentic place.

Wir gehen dort schon seit 35 Jahren hin dort gibt es die besten Filetsteak und Rösti selbst gemacht mit einen super frischen Salat und auch die Nudelpfannen sind zu empfehlenIch und mein Sohn waren in der Schnitzschule und wir haben in den 3 Jahren nichts besseres gefundenGanz wichtig vorher 1 - 2 Tage vorher einen Tisch reservieren dass Lokal ist sehr klein und immer voll
