Food was beyond this world and service was also excellent, friendly and quick. The poutine was especially good!!

I had another fantastic experience at this restaurant in Chester. Despite the busy bar, the staff managed to find a table for us. We enjoyed trying the delicious new winter cocktails and the small plates were tasty. The service wasn't as exceptional as usual, but considering how busy the staff were, it was understandable.

I'm sure I've reviewed this establishment before, so whats the point in this review? Well, we keep coming back food, staff, location, ambiance.. that says it all. I'm sure most people from Chester will know this place well, but for those visiting the City should consider BarLounge as a place to relax, unwind from shopping and get some snacks or a main meal. Called in here, pretty busy outside but got seats. Drinks were fine albeit a bit on the pricey side. Plenty staff but not around when needed drinks etc so ordered myself. Had some food which was just ok the 3 bites for £20! They add a tip onto the bill which I really don’t like, especially if you’ve not had table service! It is discretionary but none the less a little cheeky

These guys set the bar so high! The bar itself is beautiful both inside and out with a very relaxed feel and every member of staff is so pleasant and attentive. The choice and quality of the food and drink is second to none, absolutely gorgeous, the selection of cocktails and drink is superb and a food menu to cater for every taste, we strongly recommend the small bites, all are lovely

We made a reservation, which was a smart decision considering how busy the restaurant was. We were seated at a booth table, which wasn't ideal for me because I'm short and couldn't easily move around the velvety material on the seat. The foot rest under the seat made it even more uncomfortable. Luckily, a staff member noticed and kindly moved us to a more suitable table. The food we ordered, including the margarita pizza, was delicious and arrived quickly. However, I didn't care for the dim lighting, which didn't enhance the ambiance.
