Barcelona Tapas Dulwich

The food is so authentic but the restaurant was so cold, with no atmosphere and the wines were very expensive unless you chose the house wine.

We ordered 6 small plates of tapas, some were really good and few were just ok, but generally the food is great here, reasonable price, friendly staff.

Excellent friendly service and food. The chef modified a dish as we did not want it in batter and the specials (king prawns and lamb cutlets) were delicious. We were also given a taster dish to try free of charge.

We had made a dinner reservation for last Sunday at 9:00 PM, only to arrive and find that the restaurant was closed! We were extremely disappointed, especially since they didn't bother to notify us in advance. This issue definitely needs to be addressed.

The restaurant was very quiet people-wise so ambience was subdued but the staff were pleasant and the choice of tapas was excellent. Served well and authentic. Altogether good food but the Cava is overpriced at £8.25 a glass whereas the house Rioja was tasty and well priced ! Visualizza piatti

Moody manager added a sneaky tip for himself after I used a voucher code. Reviews on Google suggest it's not the first time he has done it. He was miserable throughout and barely more than grunted. Probably why me and my partner were the only ones there on a Sunday night at 7.30pm.

Not Great Query: My partner and I have been using taste card for years and I have never written a review but felt this one was necessary. This restaurant does not offer two for one, although it states it does. My partner and I ordered a starter, a main and a desert each (no tapas) and only received £7.75 off the bill which was then added as service charge. Major rip off and the food was standard- the desert was awful and the latte was just milk I will never return

We had been to Barcelona Tapas once before. The previous visit was decent, but this time it was poor, due mostly to the service. The food was decent, but one of the dishes (croquettes) arrived when most of the other dishes had already been eaten; so late that we thought they had forgotten the croquettes. The restaurant was quiet, and when another couple came in, they sat them right next to us (that shows the waiting staff care more about their journey than anything else), and then were very chatty towards them.
