Bengal Clipper - Tower Bridge

Had a great meal here. Wasn't that busy for a Friday night. Staff were attentive, food was quick and tasted great and reasonably priced . Would definitely visit again.

Really nice selection of food. We had a lovely date night here and the service was great. They also do take away! Overall a great Indian restaurant located in tower Bridge.

My family and I love the Bengal Clipper for the warmth and welcome of Azzad and his front-of-house team and the quality of the food. We feel very lucky that it's our local Indian! Visualizza piatti

It is a neutrally decorated place that could do with a makeover. The service was a little chaotic at times but the food and the drinks were good. Sometimes they have live piano music which is also nice.

We showed up in time as confirmed. The service person immediately informed us that we need to leave due to another reservation. We can nit comment on food nor service but the behaviour and attitude is absolutly inacceptable. We can not recommend this place.

Really friendly staff, food was very nice, and it is a nice large space to enjoy a curry. Unlike some of the more grittier places that attract lots of Cobra guzzling peeps, due to the space it is easy to get a nice quiet corner. Would recommend and glad this is on our doorstep. Visualizza piatti

Came across this establishment while sight seeing in London. Re attended later that evening and pleased we did. Had a nice welcome upon arrival and taken to our table, by a happy sociable member of staff. Wasn't too busy for a Friday evening, but may be due to its location. Bit off the beaten tourist route. Served quickly and respectfully. Food came at a suitable pace. Not hurried in any way. Food was plentiful and extremely tasty. One of the best we've had. I've been in this place several times and it's usually mostly empty tables, even on a Friday or Saturday night. The food is quite a good standard, and the portions are quite large, so it's fine if you're hungry. The service isn't great but nothing that bad. It has the appearance of somewhere that would have once been a popular restaurant in the late 80s or early 90s but its regular customers have dwindled and it hasn't been decorated since. It's clean, but the decor is very 1980s or early 90s. They play slow piano music in there when there are very few people, and the place somehow seems too spaced out because of all the empty tables. I came to the Bengal Clipper having won a meal for four at a function we held there. On arrival the Waiter questioned our prize letter for the meals. He did not offer us drinks or a nibbles but questioned us about 20 times about the letter not having a stamp on it. This was not done in a quiet manner.
