"Saloon or Steakhaus Santa Fe, this is one and the same restoration in Lübbenauer Neustadt. At the time we had called back from Dresden from the highway and we had reserved a table, all very friendly and uncomplicated. We did not find any problems with the parking spaces here and the signs. What am I supposed to say for the first impression? The exterior seemed to be inviting to me personally, I could not imagine that there should be a rewarding restoration in this hat-like apartment building. After the entrance you could imagine that everything was a bit different, but we all liked the equipment, especially my grandson was very happy with the many shows, wall suspensions... Those who haven't already traveled here because of the peculiarities will be in this complex and the well-functioning western ice rink, which is not just a piece of jewelry, it brings beverages, ice cream,... to the table exactly to the destination, making a very special impression on my grandson. The foods offered did not convince me so much, my Rumpsteak was rather a embarrassing solution, because I did not find what I had dreamed of in a steak house. But it was pretty good and so my wife and the little guest got it too and because we were so easy to say we were completely satisfied and grateful without ordering before You hardly get anything in the area of Lübbenau. Saturated and rested we were able to leave the Steak House again, and we will give them another chance at the next opportunity, I think they deserved this, even if I will not expect high-quality cuisine in the future. "We were there last night and our expectations were really exceeded. A beautiful ambience with great wild-western decorations where you can also look. The waiting period until the food came by as in the flight was also appropriate considering that almost all tables were occupied. The drinks were taken to the table by train. Beverage orders could also be made via the railway, which with always other cars and different sounds through the table in a volume that allowed quiet discussions at the table. Surely a great experience for children. The food itself was also really excellent. We ordered an XL Bark Steak with Kidney Beans and Wedges as well as a cattle steak with potatoes and mushrooms. The meat quality was really excellent in both dishes, the cooking point was hit exactly as desired. The meat was well seasoned. The champignons were fresh, not from the can. The kidney beans were interesting, apparently prepared with roasted bacon in a delicious, juicy sauce. The wedges were slightly crispy on the outside and inside wonderfully carrot, because not too strongly spiced, which fits well with the other, quite strong other components on the plate. The service was friendly, all ordered foods and drinks came as ordered and at a reasonable time to the table. All in all, a great restaurant with a well-thought-out concept and a reasonable price-performance ratio, which on families with children, couples, but also people who only meet in the evening, drink a beer and eat a small snack. "Bei einem Ausflug in den Spreewald wollten wir in Lübbenau eine Kaffeepause einlegen und kehrten im Cafe Fontane ein. Wir fanden, da mit Hund unterwegs einen Tisch im Innenhof. Der Name täuscht etwas. Da es sich um ein vollwertiges Restaurant auch mit warmen Speisen handelt. Die warmen Speisen und das Innere des Restaurants können wir nicht beurteilen, da wir nur zur Sichtung des Kuchenangebots den ersten Verkaufsraum betraten. Nachdem zuerst der falsche Kuchen an den Tisch gebracht wurde bekamen wir aber schnell das Gewünschte serviert. Der Kuchen war gut, was man vom Kaffee nicht behaupten konnte, er war zu dünn und schmeckte nicht. Leider wurde hier keine Form der Kartenzahlung akzeptiert welches durchaus ein Kriterium fürs Wiederkommen ist."

"I know germans love big portions, but this was just ridicolous. We ordered a dish with pork and mushroom sauce. The meat and the sauce was very good. But, we got somewhere between 20-25 boiled potatoes each (!), and no vegetables or salad. All served in a huge pile on a too small plate, which made it difficult to eat. The potatoes were small/medium, but still way too much. The service , the food and the premises are really very good, but the amount was directly unappetizing."
