"We arrived in Nice at about pm on a Friday and looked at tripadvisor to find somewhere nearby to eat. We were pleased to be able to actually book a table at the restaurant through the TA app though we were only offered pm reservations times. We arrived early for our time to find a nicely presented restaurant slightly out of keeping with the immediate vicinity which was a mixture of residential apartments and local businesses. We received a friendly greeting from the waiter/maitre d (owner who apologised that the menu was only in French. There was only one other couple in at this point and out host advised on a weekend that most guests usually only arrive after pm onwards. The menu was not extensive and appeared to consist of a ‘small appetites’ section and then presumably a ‘mains’ (the salad selection was not available until the following month due to availability of seasonal produce). We chose two of the ‘smaller’ choices as starters and these arrived promptly and were delicious, a baked Camembert topped with sliced truffle, and a heap of sliced cured sausage served with cornichons. The portions offered were larger than what I would call a starter and so we elected to share a main course of smoked salmon served with lambs lettuce and rillettes of tuna, claimed fraiche and a salmon mousse which was nicely presented and enjoyable (though not much larger than the small appetite dishes we had before it). Wine was served by the glass or different size of carafe and offered in price ranges although there seemed to be only a couple of euros difference between the ranges and each of the types of wine we tried were very nice (when asked the staff did not necessarily recommend the priciest option The restaurant was full by and this created a nice relaxed informal atmosphere and despite having booked late and arrived early we never felt pressured to finish up and move on despite the staff turning away other potential diners throughout the evening. We finished off by sharing a dessert which was a chocolate salted caramel tart which was nice. To sum up we had a very pleasant meal in a friendly informal atmosphere the food was fairly simple though nicely presented and very enjoyable. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and we were offered a complimentary liqueur to finish off a lovely evening. Recommended !"

Really pleasant tiny wine bar with friendly staff ans great wine and tasty tapas. Problem was that they might have not renewed their mastercard contract because their POS terminal declined my two mastercards from two different banks.

It’s just not the best place in Nice obviously. The cheese and wine are fine. There is a problem though. You know the nob who purports to correct your pronunciation. Yes , that one. Well he’s here. So, hope he’s not working and enjoy. Or...try Rose around the corner. Visualizza piatti

We are a group of girls, we simply let the host choose our wine and food and boy was it great the wine was excellent and the food just kept coming. I must apologise as we got a little loud and excitable but...we absolutely loved the feel and atmosphere of the place. Superb in every way and will recommend to anyone that is visiting Nice!

This was without doubt the best place me and my boyfriend ate all week in Nice. We loved everything about it. The atmosphere was amazing, and the people who works there are so passionate about keeping the place at high standards. We ate there twice...the week we stayed in Nice. We knew we had to come back after the first time, so we saved this place for our last night. The wine is amazing, and if you go there don't skip the goat cheese with apple!! It's just incredible. Still thinks about this place sometimes
