"While ordering at the counter, the girl serving me seemed distracted and handed me the wrong drinks. When I asked for a tray, she reacted rudely. The tray provided was flimsy and caused one of the glasses to break. When I returned it, I was told there were no clean glasses available. The person who brought our food appeared disinterested and barely acknowledged our presence. When we commented on the busy day with a coach parked outside, he simply grunted in response. To make matters worse, my daughter's wrap had salad in it despite me specifically requesting no salad multiple times. When I sent it back, I was met with another rude response and no apology. While I understand that it can be challenging to get teenagers to be polite and friendly, the lack of customer service during this visit has left me feeling frustrated. As a result, we will not be returning to this restaurant in the future."

Visited for the BBQ Sunday lunch, ordered two cheese burgers. These took 50 minutes to get to us and we're just bog standard burgers.... weirdly the bun had two tops put together... the cheese was a sprinkling of cheddar. Not worth a 50 minute wait

Our order was forgotten and despite the staff using the excuse of being busy, we could only see 3 tables occupied. Additionally, a table that sat down after us was served before us. It would be beneficial to see the order being written down and apologies given for the delay, rather than just putting it through the till.

What a fantastic discovery. We stumbled on the farm shop after finding most other local venues closed. After a stiff walk on the Quantocks, this place came as a lovely surprise. A very pleasant outdoor seating area, good food and excellent staff. I can recommend the light lunches very good quiche, salads and sandwiches among other choices, good quality tea and coffee too. Definitely one to visit again, together with its accompanying farm shop Visualizza piatti

We were in the area and hoping but not expecting any vegan options (except curry or chilli... and we were amazed but not hopefull when we saw the sign for a barbeque including Vege and Vegan. Did a U-turn to go back and it looked gorgeous, with nice loos but the food was all being cooked together on the barbeque so, as we didn't want a burger or sausage cooked in pork fat, we sighed and moved on to..see next review! Would have got a 5 if we could have eaten something but thanks for trying.

Called in for brunch and had a lovely meal. We actually had a full English breakfast the food was really good. The pod idea is great and works well, some are fully enclosed and others are sheltered from the wind but you are outside in the sunshine. Most of the staff (predominantly young ladies) were lovely, smiley and very helpful and gave great service. The manageress was a bit brusk not just with the staff but with guests, Maybe she was having a bad day. We will definitely go back, the cakes look lovely.

"Been wanting to try this ‘alternative’ pub for a while. Large car park with plenty of space, no steps or slopes into the bar. Access for buggies, wheelchairs etc should be okay, my mother walks with the aid of a frame and has no issues. Inside the decor is certainly alternative but in a great way, loved it! Plenty to look at, keep you entertained and talk about as you wait for your food or just pass the time. Staff were friendly and welcoming, there was just one guy running the bar, taking food orders and bringing food out; I thought he needed a helper or coworker really. There is a decent bar area with seating or there is more ‘restaurant’ style seating further back beyond the bar. We chose to sit in the bar area seating which is a mixture of booth and chairs. Dogs are allowed in which is great, there is free Wi-Fi which is good as my mobile signal was very poor. The menu is standard pub food, quite a bit of choice and plenty of options for gluten free. I chose to have the fillet steak cooked medium, I had a starter of garlic bread but chose for it all to come out together. Mother had beef brisket loaded fries, the portion was massive so I had to help her finish it. The steak was perfectly cooked, I chose to have the peppercorn sauce; this was a bit watery and bland. The steak comes with chunky chips, peas, mushrooms, tomatoes and onion rings. For dessert I had the nutty apple crumble with ice cream, it was okay. Overall this is a great venue with acceptable food, friendly staff and awesome decor that will keep you talking and looking all night. Based on this experience I would visit again."
