The best venue in Brighton for consistently putting on good DJs, great food and supplying the best cocktails. A family friendly atmosphere that my family genuinely love. My go to venue for a safe space for my kids. Never drama. Just good vibes.

Breakfasts are £6.50 each £19 if you want bottomless bucks fizz or **** Mary's . The food took a while to arrive but the staff were very friendly. Decor was unique and someone was having a haircut in the middle of the the bar ? , but worth a visit.

Block was recommended by the owners of the apartment we were staying at. Absolutely loved the design of the place! Modern industrial but very welcoming and cosy and the staff were really friendly. I visited this restaurant over the weekend and was greeted warmly. The food was tasty, although the portions were on the smaller side. I ordered tacos and a side of fries, and spent around £23.00 on a three for two promotion. The tacos were delicious but quite small in size. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. There is a spacious heated outdoor area at the back for those who smoke. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

We decided to dine at this restaurant before the Easter bonnet parade and drag race. We had never been before, but we liked the way the place was decorated. It's small, but it added to the atmosphere. For starters, we had a selection of flatbreads and baked Camembert, which had really nice flavors and was light. We both ordered the block beef burger, which was delicious and satisfying. Despite being very busy, the service was good and attentive. Overall, we had a great experience.

we held our engagement party in block on Saturday, 4th november. such a beautiful bar and the covered and heated garden was warm and comfortable on a crunchy november night! beautiful atmosphere and felt intimate for us and our guests, but much space and beautiful, not to feel restricted to a contrary. thanks to simon, who could not do enough for us. beautiful kerl very friendly and attentive. if someone is looking for a room, I recommend block. it sets the typical functional space to offer with so much more and to be a little different. many thanks to once more young people who gave us a nice night to remember. We used to avoid going to the Block due to its consistently terrible service, but we decided to give it another chance recently and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere at the Block was great this weekend, with a lively vibe, a DJ playing music, and the beer garden was packed. They now accept card payments, which is a new improvement. Although we didn't try the food, the drinks were good. However, many tables were reserved and we were asked to move by the manager twice, even after mentioning that we were locals. It's a good spot for drinks in the sun, but there were too many unruly children and hen parties running around, making it a bit less relaxing. Overall, a nice experience none...

I really do love Block and I always recommend it to friends. I’ve been coming there for years now for drinks and dinners, but I really wouldn’t recommend going there for “bottomless” brunch. There is no service whatsoever, as there is one member of staff serving quite a lot of people (about 15-20 customers I think). You have to go to the bar and wait quite a while for your mediocre refills (our mimosas were about 4/5 juice and 1/5 prosecco, they weren’t very fizzy). I also didn’t like my food, was very disappointed (no one ever came to ask if everything was okay either). As much as I love block, really this time I was very disappointed. I am the first to admit that I am biased. the owners have been known for many years by me and I played a small part in the original garden renovation project, so I realize the quick attention to detail that has gone to create the environment here. that said, even if these prejudices did not exist, block would still be my place in brighton. my prejudices are overwhelming by the fact that it is the place where I met my wife. we left brighton many years ago, but whenever we come back for a naughty weekend, we always find ourselves out here in the beer garden. it's just a nice place to be with such a chilled mood over it. there are always interesting craft beers on tap and last time we visited a...
