"Lovely local, cozy family run restaurant, with nice food. The staff are really friendly and attentive. We were there on an evening when there was a singer. It was a fantastic atmosphere, and later into evening everyone was dancing including the waiting staff. It was such a great time. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to be back. Thank you so much"

"The experience at this restaurant has consistently been fantastic. We gather once a month for happy hour and enjoy our favorite three dishes for £16. The staff is wonderful and down-to-earth, which adds to the charm of the place. I particularly love the lively atmosphere created by the older patrons enjoying their drinks. We usually visit on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, as Thursdays tend to be quite busy and attract a younger crowd, which makes it less ideal for us. Midweek is just perfect for our gatherings."

"Older waiter/manager rude and unwelcoming. Some of the other waiting staff stressy and abrupt. Didn't feel relaxed with the way they carried on. The female waiting staff were much better than the male waiting staff. Some of the food, including mine was good, some of the other guests food not well-presented and not that good. My partner had venison. Not a good flavour and tough. I expect all meals to be a great standard in a restaurant. That's your business and with something like this should be a passion. As paying customers we should expect a good standard of service and everything to be good quality, not to have sub-standard and rude attitude (from some of you). We are paying your wages. I don't go out and eat that often, so when I do its a shame that the evening is shadowed by this. I won't be going again. I have been to better places that are not so pricey but the all the food was delicious and the staff absolutely lovely. Not so here. By the way, you should get some proper hand paper towel for your dispenser in the bathroom because what was in there was like cheap toilet paper. Oh and don't overbook if you can't handle the numbers. I think your reputation will start to suffer."

"Me and my family were walking on the Broadway at dinner time and decided to try Delicio. Walked in the restaurant where 3 waitresses were all 3 busy setting a table; none acknowledged us. After they finished setting the table, one waitress left, one went behind the counter to dry some glasses and the other one stayed at the table arranging more stuff. In all this time we were standing at the door with a 2 years old girl waiting for someone to notice us. Of course we left and they lost potential clients"

"Went for dinner Friday night for mine and my partners anniversary. The food is absolutely delicious. The staff were incredible, always making sure we were enjoying our evening, they were also very helpful letting us know prior to our booking in the morning that it would be cash only due to the IT issues many businesses were hit with over this weekend. We had a fantastic evening. The food far exceeded all our expectations, with reasonable prices given the big portion sizes you are served. We sat outside the front of the restaurant which was lovely, given the nice weather we had. I had buffalo mozzarella salad followed by seabass from the special board and my partner had crevette royale starter along with the fillet steak. It was delicious. Unfortunately, due to antisocial and rowdy behaviour from one particular table in the main side of the restaurant there that night also, we decided to cut our night short. But despite that, we will definitely be returning and cannot wait for our next visit."

"We visited today after seeing the great reviews. We had 2 salt beef bagels and a tiramisu and cannoli to take away. Mayo was added to the first bagel without asking first which seemed unusual for a salt beef bagel but my husband didn’t want to be awkward so said it was fine. We live a short distance away and when we arrived home we ate, the bagels were awful with a stingy amount of very bland, fatty meat and untoasted bagel with a ridiculous amount of Mayo and Dijon mustard. It was the worst salt beef bagel we have ever had. We were hoping for better with the desserts but the tiramisu had no coffee taste and seemed to be made entirely with whipped cream and no mascarpone or ricotta. The cannoli was fine but nothing special. Such a shame after expecting good things. The staff were friendly but most of the food ended up uneaten and thrown away."

"Amazed at how good the food is here despite a rather bland interior. Same could not be said about the waiter/ owner who appeared so aloof. Appeared critical when I attempted to order cottage pie instead of shepherds pie or vice verse and then became stroppy when I asked for San Pellegrino as I just wanted to have sparking water whereas he was stating the flavours which weren’t indicated on the menu. When we asked to see the dessert menu he refused and said he would tell us what was on offer. Perhaps he was just trying to be funny/ friendly but it hardly made us feel welcome. Pity because with good service this would be a 5 star rating."

"I went with a group of friends at Xmas. Was lively and had good music but was very loud so couldn't really talk but this didn't overly bother me as its a Christmas party. The food was ok but nothing amazing. The service was terrible as we asked for drinks which didn't come, so we asked again which I appreciate its loud and it's not the end of the world but the waiter blamed us and said we didn't ask. Then some friends left early and paid their bill. At the end of meal we worked out what we all owed and paid remaining bill plus a tip. Which the waiter said he wanted to query this and get his manager. When the manager arrived he also said we had under paid by 50 pound or so. We all got our reciepts out and calculated the bill plus what my friends had paid when they left early. Which showed we didn't owe any extra but had over paid with a tip. I wouldn't mind but the waiter and manager just walked off didn't say sorry and left the lovely waitress to deal with it. The waitress was very lovely and pleasant and apologied. It's not the end of the world as mistakes happen but to accuse us of under paying when it's not my responsibility to have to go through all the reciepts to prove I'm not ripping them off. It was very busy night and you had to wait up to half hour to get any drinks. However we did have a laugh. The desert was the best bit. The main was lamb which was nice but was dry and only small amount of sauce. My partner had fillet salmon which was meant to have no bones maybe odd bone but there was loads of bones which he spent ages removing the bones. One of my friends are vegan and they didn't have any vegan deserts which they agreed to give her a shot. They brought two shots although she didn't ask for two as they said they would give her one. Then they tried to charge her for it and she did tell them when the brought it that she didn't order second shot but was told its fine and she won't be charged. I would of went again as I get Christmas are busy they are making so much food for parties but the service and how some of staff treat the customers puts me off and found it very rude and annoyed me how it took me 20 minutes of debating and getting my calculator out to prove I had actually given a tip."

"I went to this restaurant for dinner tonight and I have never felt so rushed in my life. We placed our order and our food was brought to us within 5 minutes. It was lukewarm and tasteless. My mother-in-law was still eating when they started clearing our plates. They immediately gave us the menus and kept asking if we were ready to order. When our mains arrived just minutes later, the food was again warm and tasteless. We ended up quickly paying and leaving. The drinks, coke was flat and the beer wasn't much better. We arrived at 6:30 and were out of there by 7:30, having only had starters, duck course, and mains. I have never felt so rushed in a restaurant before. I would never return to this place."

"We came here for a meal for 4 that I had won in a raffle that The Prince Albert had kindly donated, and what a great meal we had !! We all had different meals and each one was cooked perfectly and the belly of pork that I had was absolutely delicious. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were very friendly and chatted to us throughout the evening . We would definitely recommend The Prince Albert and we will be back soon to try one of the roast dinners which look absolutely delicious !!"

"I’ve been regular at this restaurant for 10yrs, and booked specifically for the ABBA tribute music act that night. We arrived for our booking at 7.45, and there were still a few empty tables, and ordered some drinks. So far so good. That’s when the evening started to go so wrong. Our initial waiter was taken from the section to then work a large party of 20 something young men that were seriously rowdy, who arrived after we had our first drinks. We observed at 3 rounds of drinks going to there tables, in the time we were waiting to have our food order taken. In the end we had to flag down another waiter, as we been there for 40mins waiting! The lads were so rowdy that we asked to move tables. This wasn’t a problem as there were plenty of empty tables. Our starters finally arrived, and the music started. We thought that the evening had been salvaged. How wrong we were. We then waited for our mains. And waited. And waited. Three times we had to ask the waiter, and even complained to the manager. All we got was hollow apologies. The large party had been prioritised with their order, as they had food going to them. Even when the food arrived it was poor. I ordered the rib eye steak rare, and half of it was inedible. You expect some fat on meat, but that was the worst cut of rib eye I’ve ever seen. A very cheap cut. My wife’s pasta too, was also not great. We complained again, and did not stay for dessert. We had approximately 20% comped off our bill, and quite frankly that wasn’t enough. After 10yrs of being regular customers, we will not be going back."

"Stumbled across this place whilst walking down Sidcup High Street so decided to give it a go. However, I really wish I hadn 't. We had a starter of melon and Italian ham but unfortunately, the ham was old and had the consistency of leather. It also tasted like it had gone past its best before date. To be fair the waiter knocked it off the bill but why would the chef allow that to be served to a paying customer in the first place. Maybe they thought they could get that one past us. The wine list looked rather uninspiring. The main of lobster ravioli was cheap and the sauce bland. My partner 's king prawn linguine was 'average ' in terms of taste but more concerning were her stomach issues the next day. Won 't be going back. Baffled as to all of the 5* ratings but there you go."

"I order food for delivery. The food itself was excellent. However, it was delivered in polystyrene containers and a plastic carrier bag, all of which were non-recyclable. This has put me off ordering from Giggling Sausage again for delivery. I am uncertain whether I shall eat in this restaurant in the future, knowing that they do not seem to be doing anything to convert to recyclable containers."

"The food came out quickly and there was plenty of it, including a complimentary serving of Bombay potatoes. However, we were disappointed to find that the dishes lacked the authentic flavors and spices we were hoping for. We ordered a chicken rogan josh, a chicken madras, white rice, garlic naan, samosas, and onion bhajis, but found the madras lacking in flavor and heat while the rogan josh was bland. Although the meal was reasonably priced, we were not able to give it a higher rating due to the lack of taste. Overall, a disappointing dining experience."

"We have been coming here for years. For Sunday lunch, not often enough. If looking for traditional meal this is the place. The restaurant is clean and tidy some people say old fashioned but that’s what we like, a truly independently run, with very reasonably priced meals. For Sunday lunch you pay for main which includes starter and dessert about 20 to 25 ish. Food is large portions hot and nice, nothing to flash but not boring. Ideal place for family gatherings. Highly recommend. Also I judge a place by its care of toilets and they are well maintained and clean. We all been restaurant and seen horrible toilets it shows the attitude."
