We went yesterday and were very impressed with how this restaurant is dealing with the covid restrictions. We had a lovely meal at a very reasonable price due to an offer.

Lovely meal with a large group of friends. Sarah who served us was run off her feet but was so friendly and cheerful and apologised for our wait on desserts The carvery was definitely value for money!

We visited on a Sunday afternoon with friends, we both had the carvery bap which are great value at £5.79. There was decent social distancing in place with a one way system and plenty of hand sanitiser.

Was served by many amazing waitresses but Jackie and Jan stood out today, made our visit pleasant and enjoyable with there friendly company! Food was piping hot and fresh, would defiantly recommend as we felt safe and comfortable our whole visit!

Visited The wacky today with my little one and a friend. First time back since it’s reopened and we cannot praise it enough! So easy to book and much better not being ram packed Inside. The staff were helpful and lovely and the place just seemed all the better for the new rules in place. Kids were so glad to be able to have a run around...hope it stays open! Well done.

We are regular customers at this lovely pub and usually have the carvery. Went for lunch today about 12.00pm..The meat was lovely and as normal plenty of veg but this time the veg was quite hard. I like my veg firm but the broccoli, sprouts and roast potatoes were hard not the standard we have come to love. We had to leave the veg I'm sure when we go again it will be a better experience !

Amazingly, friendly staff. Doreen says she enjoyed the meal. June said it has been a very long time she did not enjoyed such a steak . I’ve never had a steak like this. Phil says it was a good meal. Fred says super quality, but I trust is exaggerating there. Thanks for the television, Val appreciate that the wolf won. Now English beer remains English beer week. Custard specially made for me.

I have visited the Broadway many times with family and friends. If it is busy you may need to book a table. We went during the day and found a table. We then ordered out carvery from the bar. Like most carvery’s you say what meat you would like. You pay extra for pigs in blankets. After getting your meat you help yourself. The food has always been amazing. If carvery isn’t your thing (like my daughter) you can order from a menu. I will be back again soon as we visit a few times each year.

The wife and I popped in on off-chance that there would be a table going. On reaching the desk at entrance two staff where having a disagreement. The ones comment was You can either have me on bar or on door It was quite obvious from the tone of voice she was annoyed. When we asked if there was a table spare she couldn 't even give us a waiting time in fact her comment was it could be within 30mins or over an hour ,even though it was plain to see there where numerous tables empty and not many queuing for food .It was nowhere near as busy on previous occasions when we 've got at last minute. Definitely won 't be going back which is a pitty as we regularly went on numerous occasions throughout...
