"on 07. 06. 2014 we took the way to sankt augustin on us and brought together with Awe-in and awkward to prove our old friend dalibor hrgota the veneration. at us in bergheim (rhein erft kreis is the family hrgota very well known, name and croatian restaurant mediteran in bm rugged are also popular in the surrounding area. the brother of the owner had made himself a while ago in sankt augustin self-employed and there, together with his wife in the restaurant bürgerhof, a restaurant with old names, but with Croatian flair. now it was so far, we were excited to see again and that was the most important for tonight, through the navi well managed we reached the restaurant on this beautiful and warm day and I parked right next to the house on the parking space provided for this. dalibor had already noticed us and expects us completely impatient. there was a warm greeting to which his wife and his little daughter came and then they took us proudly through their space. everything was pico bello in order and glittering clean, his helperlein also saw and we congratulate him a lot to this restaurant. we could have taken place in different areas of space, everything was pleasant to consider and the rustic impression fits very well to a Croatian restaurant. because the day was so wonderfully warm, we went out and found a table for 4 people more than enough, which were welcoming and clean covered under one of the large sunshades. so we read here below, the traffic on the road did not stop us and he did not disturb us in the evening. bee and other flying fastenings read us in rest and outside there was a small air movement, all others would have been too hot and sworn. just perfect! the menu has offered us everything they can expect in a Croatian guided restaurant, the choice was not difficult and so we could order soon after the drinks. I really don't know what my fellow fighters have ordered, but have my choice still good in mind; there were: starter: tintenfische dalmatiner art with olive oil, garlic and white wine, plus baguettebrot costpunkt 6,90 € main dish: bourgeoishof – teller 1 spittel, kotelett, rißeak, cevaci, leber with wangen costpunkt the meat was delicious, the soft and the cevapcici came from its own production, tasted fresh and not at all like many of the often machined from deep cooling. everything was pleasantly seasoned, although for my taste quite underwhelmed, but this is my own problem, I love the sharp things! I got also immediately after applying a sharp ajvar and enough garlic; dalibor had not forgotten my preferences! when I took over the car service, I had a good time in the evening with mineral water and I didn't miss anything. the later ordered espresso (or were it about 2 or 3? I enjoyed it. my colleagues were all very satisfied and I only heard praise everywhere, even if it happened to me as if it was just a nice sidepiece. no wonder we all had so much to tell. we didn't have all the time in the world because they took care of the other guests, but we found time together and could talk. before it became really dark, we made ourselves on the way to home, not without wishing all of us well and we would like to see each other soon. my final conclusion: here in the bürgerhof they will be as entertaining as they can expect in a Croatian restaurant, and we only saw cheerful and laughing faces everywhere, the hectic had already lived well and the guests came before me as well known from them! until soon dali, it has taken too long again."

Beautiful indoor and outdoor areas. Very nice operation. And the steaks were very great. I'm always sceptical about such thick steaks. They often ordered medium and came completely raw into the interior. But they were perfect. Very good meat, well seasoned. Pommes also delicious Visualizza piatti

The civil court belongs to Hangelar. Great authentic service and fast drinks. meat of great quality prepared by heart. Best liver I could order so far. Recently renovated, now the more modern guest feels comfortable. In summer on the terrace you can also make the day sound good. Glad with a Pleskiawitzka (adjusted by writing) to the house.

finger away! we celebrated with our oma birthday. the food was a catastrophe. meat was old and with fat. cevapcici and French were totally salted. the sose tasted like the finished sauce. the service was inappropriately dressed. to the conclusion we have the completely overcrowded bill. despite 88 birthdays, a free schnapps was not even served. unfortunate service! our complaint was completely ignored. never again!

Calabria

Calabria

Am Herrengarten 1, Siegburg I-53721, Deutschland, Germany

Piatti • Pizza • Europäisch • Vegetarier • Mittelmeer

"And again, we're on our way home on 12th. November the trade traffic jams on the A3 in Cologne. “Calabria in Siegburg?” I ask my wife while we roll to Frankfurt. She understands immediately and nods. After 7 p.m. we are finally in Siegburg and directly control the then fee-free parking “Mühlentorplatz”. From here it is just a few minutes walk to the Herrengarten, a residential and business area in the Siegburg pedestrian area. Here in Herrengarten 1 the Calabria advertises with “Italian specialties in the heart of Siegburg”. The Calabria stands out through an outdoor gastronomy and a winter garden-like pre-construction from a row of houses and business houses in a literal sense. The awning is actually only an extended awning, which has been fastened to glass side walls with sealing tape. In the interior, heaters provide sufficiently high temperatures, one of which ensures strong warmth during our visit. We take place here on a brown foursome table in cozy chairs with white-grey plastic mesh. From here we look into the wine bar on the ground floor of the reddish-brown-clinked building, through which we entered the pavilion. The path through the wine bar is not wide, on the one hand a modernly designed standout counter, on the other hand in front of an ocher-colored wall with a suspended Gabione a table row, to which a further table row is connected in front of a somewhat pre-built wall. The Mediterranean flair of the room is reinforced by the bright tile floor. The actual restaurant is located in the basement, which can be reached via a staircase next to the entrance door. At the walk to the toilets that are also in the basement, we get an impression of the restaurant. No one sits here, a guesthouse sits at a long table row in the wine bar, guests who still come after us take place like we in the pre-built pavilion. An impression of the restaurant is given by the pictures I have set. We evaluate the ambience as okay, so three stars. Service Quick is the service. We barely took a seat when a young man obviously gives us South European origin the menus. A young lady supports him, she's fast too. Both are attentive and friendly, clean up the used dishes in a timely manner, give and ask for our satisfaction. The service does a good job, four stars. The menu offers the Ristorante-Pizzeria usual, pasta, pizza, Mediterranean meat and fish dishes, complemented by a table with daily dishes at the transition of the wine bar to the pavilion. The level is already slightly elevated. We want a tasty, hot, at least well seasoned pizza. And a little salad may be. After we have chosen, the young man notes for my wife a – Pizza Mena with Italian Salami, Mozzarella and Champignons (10.90 € , one – Pinot Grigio (0.25 l to 5,60 €; 0.1 l to 3,50 € , one – mineral water (0.25 l to 2,30 € and for me also one – Pizza Mena and one – alcohol-free beer (2.50 € of the thirdliter). The Pizza Mena has recommended us the young man to our question, which of the pizzas is sharp. The salami on it is sharp. For caution, we order sharp oil. As I said, the service is fast. Nearly ten minutes after the order, the young man appears again with two steaming pizzas, apparently rich 30 centimeters in diameter, and a neatly loaded salad plate. The pizzas are exemplary baked, inside nicely thin, getting thicker to the outside. On the edge they are crispy, the salami slices are really sharply spiced, the oil ordered to increase the sharpness. Thick slices of Mozarrella are baked and melted. Fresh basil leaves and oregano give additional Mediterranean spices. The pizzas taste good. The mixed salad is a decent portion. It consists of leaf salads, tomato quarters, cucumber slices, corn, red onions, fresh red cabbage, ruccola, black olives, grilled zucchini and a honey melon slice. A baked dough strip lies above the salad hill, a small bowl with a scavenging, creamy dip is added. The salad is fresh and crisp, not dressed. The salt-peffer-oil-balsamico-position standing on the table is used instead of the scree-like crème for seasoning according to our Gusto. Even the salad tastes good. Both the pizzas and the salad are above average in size and quantity. We both fight with the pizzas and the salad portion and are glad that we have only taken a salad. Finally, we are pappy and highly satisfied with the consumed. The food is worth four stars, we've eaten well. Cleanliness Here we don't see any reason to mocker. Eßutensilen are clean, toilets, both men's and women's toilets, too. However, they have already come a little into the years and could make a renovation. Note good for cleanliness and four stars. The price-performance ratio service and food are good. However, the price level dampens the assessment of the price performance ratio. The amount and size of the portions does not change this. We do not value our pizzas and salads, both in the transmitted and in the word literally. Nevertheless, we think the price-performance ratio is okay, but not good, so “just” three stars. The conclusion We drive well saturated and satisfied home. We do not regret the visit to Calabria, and once again the appetite for a large, tasty pizza, we are happy to go back. A total ranking between okay and good we think is reasonable, therefore three and a half stars."

Blumenhof

Blumenhof

Mendener Straße 48, 53757 Sankt Augustin, Germany

"About forty years ago, I was occasionally a guest at the Blumenhof. At that time I had a bachelor's life, and the floweryard, located very close to my apartment at that time, served me as a start-up station if I wanted to go to eat delicious alone or with friends. Later, now married and sedentary at some distance to the Blumenhof, the restaurant was occasionally worth a visit. From these four decades has remained in my memory: good and tasty food, prices reasonable, service professional. One reason for my wife and me to strike again at the Blumenhof. The Blumenhof on Mendener Straße in Sankt Augustin-Mülldorf owes its name to its location. The restaurant, built on a detached house, on the corner of Mendener Strasse/Blumenstraße, is located on the entrance side of an access road to the so-called flower settlement, in which the flower road passes to the tulip path and branches off from the first of the Narzissen, Veilchen and Dahlienweg. This situation has probably inspired the Bosnian gastronomic family, now in the second generation, for naming. At the entrance to the restaurant on the Blumenstraße, parking spaces are created, which could be scarce with numerous motorized guests. Under the lettering “Restaurant Blumenhof” that spans the entrance area, we enter the dining area. Here is a friendly young gentleman who accompanies us to the previously reserved table. Our table is located in a “department” separated by table-high separations, each with two fours and two two tables at the window front of the restaurant to the Blumenstraße. On one side of the tables to the separation, a dark red primed upholstery bench with vertical black stripes offers seating for guests. On the other side of the tables are identically padded chairs. On our arrival, our “compartment” is occupied only at one of the two four tables, later at all four tables. This compartment-like division extends over the entire, quite large guest room. Summers offers a terrace additional space for guests. We feel comfortable at our table, a pleasant ambience to eat well. The friendly young gentleman from the Entrée pushes a slate table with the daily offers to our table, fills us with the menus and lets us choose. A daily offer on the slate board is very good for my wife. The menu is characterized internationally with food from beef, pig, lamb, poultry, calf and grilled specialities such as in traditional Yugoslav restaurants. Vegetarians are equally found. Prices are available in the regional area. We have time to choose. A lady, routined in appearance, friendly and hospitable, takes up our order so routined that she does not need any block, pen or digital helper to store. Her visual-spatial note block of the work memory is enough. In general, the service does a perfect job. Both the lady and the Lord are courteous, professional and make sure that the guest is to feel comfortable. They ask for further wishes whether it has tasted whether everything is right. The lady remembers: • Entenbrust with orange sauce, broccoli and rice (29,50 € from the daily menu for my loved ones, • Grilled lamb fillets in garlic sauce with seasonal vegetables and potato gratin (27,50 € for me and as an appetizer for me a • Bovine boar with vegetable julienne (4,50 €). Special gourmet medium (0.75 l for 7.50 € for my enthusiasts who declared themselves a carriage on the bock, and • a squirrel gray burgundy, QbA, dry, winery pine, oak sticks (0.2 l for 5,90 €). The oak vine drink does not remain solo during the evening. Drinks don't let them wait long. The young man serves them appropriately cooled. Little later, the lady serves us the greeting from the kitchen. Greeting from the kitchen The greeting from the kitchen remains on average. They are no longer crispy, rather saltless baguette slices, butter and a herbal cucumber with many red sprinkles, probably paprika and tomato. Well! My appetizer follows after a reasonable waiting period. The lady serves the soup, which is easily swept over the plated throat. Bovine force broth with vegetable julienne The strength broth is adorned with the cow's origin. It is plentiful with vegetable jelly, pancake strips – “Flädle” in the Swabian – are not missing either. A cattle force broth according to my gusto, hot and authentic in taste. A warm, yes hot, pleasant intro into the main dish of the already cool autumn evening. Our main foods follow. Entenbrust with orange sauce, broccoli and rice The optically beautifully presented dish makes my wife look good. The pink roasted duck breast with well-brown skin convinces by its tenderness and juice. The meat and the tasty sauce are well seasoned, as well as the broccoli, which is cooked with a light butter note. Also wonderful buttrig is the fine basmati rice, perfectly cooked, without being sticky. My dearest is more than satisfied with her choice. Grilled lamb fillets in garlic sauce with seasonal vegetables and potato gratin The lamb fillets, the three of them in the number, are super tender. They are no longer as pink as the duck breast on my wife's plate, yet soft and juicy. The garlic sauce has a note that matches its name and tastes excellent. The seasonal vegetables consist of boiled carrots, broccoli and cauliflower and are cooked and bite-resistant. The potato gratin complements the round of the lamb fillets and is unfortunately somewhat too dry. The wonderful garlic sauce makes up this deficit. Compared to past decades, our rating has changed little: good and tasty food, prices reasonable. We are very happy with our courts, yes, my wife is even delighted. As far as cleanliness is concerned, there is no reason for criticism in the guest or toilet areas. The men's toilet is very well maintained and very clean. Before paying, the lady asks from the service for a drink at the expense of the house, just as it used to be the “Croat” and also here in the Blumenhof. We choose two Sliwowitz who, due to the alcohol abstinence of my loved ones, end up eating, which I do not regret. Delicious, tasty and a matching finish. The guest at the Blumenhof can pay by cash, but also electronically by Maestro, Visa or Giro card. We pay easily via Apple Pay, the tip cash added. The prices in the Blumenhof are still as suitable as they were about forty years ago. Here you get a good kitchen and service for your money. This leads to the conclusion that I have drawn about forty years ago: The Blumenhof is worth a visit. For the prices invoked, the guest receives a kitchen of high levels, consistently reasonable price. A visit to the Blumenhof is worthwhile, so not only me, but also my wife."
