"our family had made good experiences last year with the dressings of house hesse, so we also made a table reservation in the april 2017. the menu has been changed since the last visit and the prices have increased significantly. for the higher prices, my unfortunately only gets mediocre dishes. my woodcrap plate consisted of a derecote, hacksteak, schweinesteak, speck, with fried wobble and cheese, plus pommes frites and salat from salatbuffet (18,90 €). the steak was unfortunately roared, the hacksteak had the consistency of heavily crushed, pressed chop and was not particularly tasty seasoned. Moreover, no cheese was served, but cheese from cow milk was served. the two with which the court was covered were fried in the friteuse. I didn't eat them after a short sample. the grill plate, puten- and pork chop, chopsteak, speck, ajvar and swirl with pommes fries and salat at 16,80 € was ordered by 2 persons. this dish is made more tasty in other restaurants. here too, the hacksteak had the consistency of heavily crushed, pressed chop and was not particularly tasty flavored. the hacksteaks all had the same shape and my man said it could be finished products. we had also ordered: pork rodeo, pork fillets grilled, with pepper cream sauce, with roasted and salat of salatbuffet €18.80.Here the sauce was edible only without the much too sharp pepper grains. I can confirm: I have never been served in the restaurant before. as a supplement there were four small roasted inks.Scarved champignon, panned pork, in champignon sauce with bratkartoffeln and salat €15.60. this was a normal carving. the salad with brushed stripes, fresh salad in yogurt dressing with roasted turkey-meat stripes, plus brot 14,90 € - unfortunately mainly consisted of green salad. there were a few more earthy than topping. from the spatula card was ordered spatula with cooked and smoked ham and salt potatoes. the served asparagus at this court was very clear, for that the price was €21.00. It is still worth noting that a glass with lipstick remains was served to me. the service was very reserved, short tied and not particularly friendly."

"Das Haus Pfingsten ist in einem wunderschönen Fachwerkhaus, direkt am Eingang zum Herdecker Stadtkern gelegen. Die Inneneinrichtung ist stilvoll und schön, vor allem das alte Brunnenloch, mitten im Restaurant, ist eine Besonderheit. Die Gaststätte verfügt über eine Terasse auf dem man im Sommer angenehm sitzen kann, auch wenn sie direkt an eine vielbefahrene Straße grenzt. Draussen wird das Aufenthaltserlebnis allerdings durch eine quasi dauerhaft nervig pipsende Fußgängerampel getrübt. Die Karte ist sehr groß und wartet mit einer vielversprechenden Anzahl internationaler Gerichte auf. Was letztlich auf den Teller landet ist leider enttäuschend. Die bestellten saisonalen Pfifferlinge mit Gnocchis kosten 18,50 Euro. Die frischen Pilze sind in einer Tütensahnesauce ertränkt und kommen mit einer Handvoll handelsüblicher Gnocchi. Das Putenschnitzel mit Pommes (12,50 Euro) ist vernünftig gebraten, jedoch klein ebenso die Portion Pommes. Die Anrichtung der Gerichte entspricht dem der 80er Jahre des vergangenen Jahrhunderts. Stengel Petersilie neben einem Stück Melone warum auch immer. Alles ist irgendwie auf die Teller gepackt. Der Ziegenkäse auf Zupfsalat ist eine paniertes Etwas aus dem Supermarktregal und schmeckt erschreckend gering nach Ziege. Der Service ist Print aber unfreundlich wobei, das weiß man gar nicht so genau, denn der Gastgeber spricht eigentlich gar nicht mit seinen Gästen. Alles in allem leider keine Empfehlung. Schade, der der Laden könnte wirklich etwas hergeben."

"Wir wollten einen entspannten Abend im Il Cortile verbringen. Das Ambiente im Außenrestaurant war schön, ein bißchen wie im Urlaub.Anfangs wurden wir häufiger nach unseren Wünschen gefragt. Der Chef des Hauses empfahl uns gute Weine, passend zu unserer ebenfalls recht guten Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen. Danach konnten wir noch ein weiteres Glas Wein und eine weitere große Flasche Wasser bestellen und dann wurden wir ignoriert. Nach mehr als einer halben Stunde hatten wir keine Getränke mehr und trotz mehrmaliger Versuche keinen Erfolg, weitere Getränke und die Hauptspeise zu bestellen. Irgendwann hat uns der Chef doch bemerkt und uns signalisiert, dass er gleich käme. Das hat weitere 10 Minuten gedauert. Es kam seine Frau. Ich habe diese dann höflich gefragt, warum man uns ignoriert. Es kam kein Wort des Bedauerns, sondern es folgte ein Redeschwall mit der Quintessenz, dass es (unter anderem) unsere Schuld sei, weil wir ja nicht alle Gänge sofort bestellt hätten. Daraufhin ist uns endgültig der Appetit vergangen und wir haben die Rechnung verlangt. Zwei Minuten später kam der Chef persönlich und fing ebenfalls Diskussionen an. Wir bestanden auf die Rechnung, die uns dann vom Chef höchstaggressiv mit einem Faustschlag auf den Tisch serviert wurde. Die anfängliche Freundlichkeit ist bei diesem Herrn offensichtlich reine Fassade. Ein derartiges Verhalten ist uns noch nie untergekommen. Wir haben für den kaputten Abend mit einer Vorspeise über 53 Euro bezahlt. Il Cortile? Nie wieder!"

"Not the place for you if you are in a hurry and with a little adjustment it would gain a fifth star. It is beautifully located with inside and outside tables: most tables will give you beautiful views. The menu gave balanced and varied offerings. The pasta dishes, the Angus steak and roasted calamari were very good as was the fish. The Vitelli Tonato disappointed. The friendly service lapsed at times. Overall it was a happy experience and reasonable value: certainly worth a revisit"

"We were registered with four people and a dog and, as desired, got a table in a somewhat quieter area (e.g. dog) and were often asked if you hand out the menus whether it could be a bowl of fresh water for the dog that should be accepted. The selection of drinks was normal, as the food was ordered a Florida cellar, two Pleskavica as well as a funny Bosnian and after a quite short time was dressed appealing and really excellent served in taste. Hospitality, service gave us the impression that we are old friends of the house and really welcome. We agreed at the end of a really rainy evening that we will certainly come back and also try the other pleasant delicacies on the menu, and that is actually the only drop in wormwood: the menu is not published on the internet or is it? You need to log on to Facebook to get the website at all, but we reject all four without exception... So our next visit will be another appetizer-card-like surprise that we look forward to!"

"it should be a cozy evening at a delicious meal in a small family circle... when we arrived, we were "viewed". the personal, including the gastronomics itself, sat in cheerful round with other guests at the tables and clashed comfortably in front of themselves. no one took the effort to serve the new guests briefly. after approx. We got 30 minutes tormented a card and our drink order was reluctantly accepted. another 15 minutes later, we tried again (visibly) to pick up the order of the feed. again 10 minutes ago, chefin personally explains to us that unfortunately the gyros would be for today (in a Greek restaurant!.) instead, the dame offered us spears and was hardly able to take off from her suggestion. we then asked for the map again, looking for a teller on which also gyros should be included, that we wanted to have finished by bifteki and who was already € 1.50 more expensive anyway than the planned one. Unfortunately, the gastronomin told us that this teller with replacement of the gyros by a Greek frikadelle would only have to be priced against one! Now, honestly, those are going out as a Greek restaurant the gyros, we kindly choose an alternative and then we should pay an extra price!? Those of us who chose gyros and had a bear starving then spontaneously decided to eat nothing here! When we wanted to talk to the gastronomin again before our upheaval, this was unintentional and unfortunately fell only into the word. we just gave it up and let it stand. today - thank God - you have the opportunity to warn others who are just hungry and want to spend a nice evening before such a restaurant. not so, dear gastronomics!"

"Proto is a great restaurant. The staff is very well organized, very nice and friendly. Despite the full beer garden, all waiters had everything perfectly under control. The food was very good and we didn't have to wait long. The recommended appetizer was really a must (foot cheese with honey and sesame seeds. All in all a perfect, beautiful evening. We'll be back! Thanks to the proto team for a wonderful, delicious evening. Go! They have a gold mine there; The negative reviews here are not understandable at all!"

"The Blue Jay is an old rock right in the Herdecker Town Hall. Not least thanks to the legendary parties, everyone knows it from the area. In summer there is a large beer garden in the sand, elsewhere this is probably called a beach deck. Inside there are three areas where you can sit. On the one hand there are stools at the bar, then on the lower and upper floor tables with chairs and benches and at the bottom in the rear area two seating groups with armchairs. The service is sometimes fast, sometimes only moderately fast and sometimes very friendly, but also very distant on other days. The selection of soft drinks from coffee to beer and spirits is rich. The menu is varied but not particularly large. Unfortunately, prices and quantities in recent years seem to have gone further apart as it is in industry. The quality of the dishes was always good. To drink a beer outside in the summer and watch football or drink a coffee inside, I can definitely recommend Blue Jay. Who really wants to go for dinner now finds enough other offers in Herdecke. These are 3 out of 5 stars."

"toni’s la cipolla is recommended only. the menu with pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes as well as salads and desserts leaves no wish open, even the wine card is diverse - and everything to reasonable praises. there is also always a daily ticket with special offers and specialties. we have tried a lot there and were always very satisfied with taste and quality. the spaces are cozy and appealing, the service is very friendly and also likes to go on special requests. we always like to be there and feel very comfortable with toni and his team each time!"
