"Standortbedingt weniger für Action sondern mehr zum relaxen oder ausruhen. Für Besprechungen oder Schulungen existieren sachlich eingerichtete Seminarräume.Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und mit Balkon versehen. Einzig bei den weichen Matratzen hätte ich persönlich, diese etwas härter bevorzugt. Aber das ist wohl eher einer persönlichen Gewohnheit geschuldet.Der Nassbereich ist absolut sauber und neuwertig.eingerichtet.Beim Essen, egal zu welcher Tageszeit ist man sehr gut aufgehoben. Das liegt nicht nur am guten Essen sondern auch an den sehr hilfsbereiten und netten Mitarbeitern.Alles in allem, egal wenn man dort übernachtet: Ob es betrieblich, über den Verein oder im familiären Bereich genutzt wird es ist zu empfehlen."

"Meinen Bericht schreibe ich eine Woche vor Weihnachten 2016. Eine Puppenstube vor dem Erbacher Schloß, wahrlich. Draußen eisig und ungemütlich; drinnen sehr gemütlich, alles scheint im Original zu sein; durch die kleinen Fenster scheint die Umgebung wie auf Postkarten herein zu grüßen ! Hierzu paßt eines der Biere vom Faß, es gibt auch Saisonbiere - lecker ! Wenn die denn regelgerecht gekühlt wären - nein, sie kamen viel zu warm auf den Tisch. Leider wurde die eigene (Haus-) Brauerei übernommen - daher gibt es kein eigenes Bier in der Tradition der Mikrobrauerei mehr. Wer solches sucht, muß in Michelstadt gleich nebenan einkehren. Die Speisen: der Jahreszeit entsprechend wählten wir Gänsekeule resp. Wildschwein-Maronen-Fleischkäse mit Beilagen. Insgesamt 4-, denn beide Gerichte kamen sehr "dunkel" auf den Tisch, also fast verbrannt. Das sollte wohl die reichliche, braune Soße verdecken (dieselbe für beide Gerichte). Die Reklamation dieses Sachverhalts motivierte den Service nicht, sich zu entschuldigen oder gar etwas als Wiedergutmachung "auf's Haus" anzubieten.Am Nachbartisch wurde (in etwa) Steak mit Pommes Frites bestellt. Dies scheint die Küche besser zu "können", was sich aus den Kommentaren dieser Gäste ergab. Unterm Strich: sehr romantische Lage. Im Sommer durch die große Außenterrasse sicher ebenfalls eine Adresse."

"the first thing they have to pay here is for the complete stay. I had asked to get a room in the 1.OG as I got sick I got a room in the 2nd og (the hotel was empty except I was still 3 people there). no one helps with the baggage, so I had to raise the stairs 3x. in the room: no shower, bath with curtain now a 70s flair, the regal in the cabinet was not as they would like to put in his laundry. the closing system is not explained, neither the parking space nor the entrance area was cleared by snow or scattered it was quite smooth. when they come to the hotel in the evening, there is no outside light, light will only begin when they open the door very unpleasant for single women. they eat: so lala, but not that they want to eat tomorrow. on the day of departure, the towels are taken out of the room while they have breakfast so they can no longer wash the hands. only light view: the nice breakfast woman she explains to me the closing system. but the breakfast is not great, rather hungry, in the stehcafe I have already eaten and cheaper breakfast. "Wir waren hier an einem Sonntagmittag zum ersten Mal und waren umgeben von sehr alten Gästen.Der Service war am Anfang komplett überfordert und es hat sehr, sehr lange gedauert bis unser Aperitif in Teilmengen kam. Hugo, anstatt Minze mit Pfefferminzlikör - na ja wer's mag ?Bei den Suppen fehlten uns bei der einen doch der Ingwergeschmack und die Kartoffelsuppe schmeckte kein bßchen nach Meerrettich - würzen ist hier nicht so angesagt, hat vielleicht auch mit dem überalterden Publikum zu tun.Rumpsteaks waren auf den Punkt richtig gegrillt und auch der Lachs innen noch etwas glasig.Leider wurden die Gerichte doch in großem Zeitabstand serviert, so das man nicht wirklich zusammmen speisen konnte.Preisleistung ist gut, wenn man den z.T. mürrischen Service ignoriert, kann man den Michel empfehlen."
