"I had ordered a 300g ribeye steak medium with a french potato, my friend the same steak only well by fried with bratkartoffeln. my friend had a bowl of apples I had a Coca-Cola. the apfelschorle was ok, the cola with only little carbonic acid. must have been the last rest of the bottle. well. after approx. 20 min. the food came. the steak of my friend was good through, as she likes, the bratkartoffels were very lazy from the taste. the co-ordered crimped butter was missing for the steak. my many potato with sour cream was apparently filled with crimped jar and the outer edges of the kartoffel hard and dried. but actually the steak should be the highlight. on the outside, the steak medium was fried, but the more one worked to the middle of the steaks it was always bloodier, the middle was completely raw and therefore not enjoyable for me. of a 300g Ribeye-Steak medium for 22,50 euro (only the meat without supplements) I had presented myself more. when the service asked if it tasted, I said that the steak was raw inside and not edible. my statement was taken wordless, at least an apology I expected at such a badly prepared expensive piece of meat. but nothing came. Finally, I can say that it is one of the less good steak houses I know, but with praise of the upscale kitchen.I for my part would not pick up this steakhouse again and not recommend it. for that there are just better steak houses."

"Went to this restaurant on a Sunday night when little else was available in town. We sat inside as it was a little chilly outside. Both the outside seating across the street and the inside had plenty of open seats so it didn‘t appear to...be overly busy. My first question was „Can we sit anywhere?“ (Coming from America, we don‘t just take an open seat but wait for the staff to tell us where to sit The waitress, who I suspect might also have been the owner, replied with attitude „We’ll, anyplace that isn‘t already taken.“ It only got worse from there. She was so rude I would describe her as openly hostile. She was the only one serving and taking orders both inside and outside, so I‘m sure she was stressed. When I tried to make nice by commenting on how busy she was she said something like, „Is that a problem for you?“ The whole experience was torturous and I couldn’t wait to eat and leave. I was using my limited German to speak with her, but I found out later her English was excellent as she dealt with some Brits who walked in. Not sure why she didn’t offer to use her English with us when she heard me translating to my husband. In fact, I spent most of the night wondering if there was something I said or did that elicited such offensive behavior from her. I was only polite, friendly, and patient, but she never softened in her attitude toward us. I wish I hadn’t left her a tip (she asked us to just leave the cash for our bill at the table), but I took the high road and hoped she would regret having treated us so badly. The food was excellent and the portions were huge, but so was the price tag. It was the most expensive meal we had in our two weeks trip to Germany. I would recommend staying away from this place."

"Germany in Corona Summer 2020 are moaning both Bavaria and Schleswig-Holstein under the storm of holidaymakers who would otherwise have spread around the Mediterranean and other areas of the world. At the beaches of the Baltic Sea, guests are stacked, we locals are undesirable as “day tourists”. It was obvious to travel anticyclically and visit the places that were not otherwise visited by dozens of travel groups from the USA and Japan. Think, done, it should be the world heritage city of Quedlinburg and also its neighbours, and later also others. On the arrival day we could not follow the repeated recommendation of a table reservation on this platform. The hotel had made a mistake in the room reservation, and it took almost two hours to get a room as ordered. At 18:00 we were able to look for a free table in a restaurant in the old town, which was impossible despite some attempts at the recommended local restaurants. Only a small Asian restaurant in the middle of the old town had a free table in the outdoor area, which we immediately occupied. Shortly afterwards a young Asian came to the table, sprayed it with hygienic spray and carefully wiped it off, then disappeared in the house and gave us the menus a few moments later. The offer was already clearly mixed, there were typical representatives from China (Acht Kostbaren, Thailand (red Curry and Vietnam (Pho Hanoi). Further back on the map there was a page with the “Recommendations of the Chef” and with Hot Pot-Geisier. From this area, four offers seemed interesting to us, and when the young waiter came back to the table, Madame ordered the “Pak-Bo plate, consisting of humprabs, duck, beef, chicken meat, corn, paprika, carrot slices and mushrooms” (12.50 €), plus a Cola light (0.4l mushroom for 3.50 €). The waiter thanked, collected the menus and disappeared in the house. Just a little later he came back and brought the drinks. At the same time, we realized that his German was quite worthy of improvement, but his appearance was friendly and attentive and he fled. A little later, he first placed a bowl with underbuilt Rechaud at my place, which contained a colorful mixture of meat and vegetables, and also he put us a plate. Then there was nothing for just two minutes, but then he came with a cliché iron pan on a wooden board and laid both before Madame. The pan contained a similar colourful mixture as in my plate, and when the rice was finally brought to us, we began to eat. The vegetables fresh and crispy, the different meats tastefully distinguishable and tasty, the humprabbs well roasted to the point – we were very satisfied with this emergency solution in small Asian."
