"We dined at Badalucci our second night in Lugano, and were incredibly impressed by the personable friendly service, outstanding food, and tranquil atmosphere. The amuse bouche trio to start was fabulous there was a multitude of flavors packed into a each tiny bite! The standout had to be the small tomato sphere which was covered in a crystallized sugar. The bread service was delicious and had something for everyone, whether it was a classic crusty baguette or a blackened brioche roll. My langoustine appetizer was light, fresh, and flavorful. No complaints! Myself and my parents all opted for the special of the night for our main, which was blue lobster from the Mediterranean sea accompanied with homemade pasta in a word, phenomenal. The lobster was perfectly sweet, the pasta was cooked to perfection (al denté and the flavor from the sauce was spectacular. Accompanied with the delicious food was the incredibly kind service! The staff emulated the perfect balance between checking in and giving us space, and were overall lovely. Another highlight was the jugs that the restaurant used for water, they were truly pieces of art! If you decide to go to only one fine dining/ Michelin restaurant in Lugano, I would recommend Badalucci above all others!"

"A bit off the beaten track but with a good google map this is easy to find and a there’s a free car park dead opposite. Despite the slightly drab exterior the service was outstanding! The menu was in Italian only but one waiter had...enough English to have a go at explaining after we’d worked most out either from memory of Italian menus and googling ‘translate...’ Food was super hot and very tasty the desserts were amazing (thus the photos) Well worth a visit very refined service."

"Bei unserem Luganoausflug wollten wir am Abend schön essen gehen. Wir hatten erst ein anderes Restaurant im Fokus, welches jedoch ausgebucht war. Wegen der interessanten Karte entschieden wir uns für das ,,Metamorphosis". Dies war eindeutig die richtige Entscheidung. Unser Platz an der Terasse wurde uns so zurecht gestellt, das wir einen Blick auf den See hatten. Da wir zu früh waren, nahmen wir einen Apero, dazu erhielten wir von dem freundlichem Service Chips und Oliven. Die Speisekarte ist nicht riesig, dafür sind gut ausgewählte Gerichte und Lebensmittel von hoher Qualität vorhandem (z.B. Imberikon).Wir entschieden uns 2x für das 5-Gangmenü für je 85.- und wurden überrascht. Nach 2 Amouse Bouche wurden uns die 5 Gänge serviert, plus einen Sorbetgang. Das Menü war spannend, abwechslungsreich und die Teller schön und modern angerichtet. Die einzelnen Komponenten ergaben bei jedem Gang ein fantastisches Geschmackserlebniss. So ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhälniss gibt es selten und wir wurden den ganzen Abend gut bedient. Ein guter Koch und ein tolles Team sind im Metamorphosis am Werk, wir sind begeistert! Durante l’orario di pranzo è un luogo molto frequentato, consiglio di riservare e se avete una pausa pranzo ridotta potete chiedere di preparare il pranzo per un determinato orario d’arrivo al ristornate e consumarlo li! Vegetarian options: Ho anche assaggiato il burrito vegetariano davvero ottimo! "sat with friends and with an salat and pommes a cortex. the latter not my favorite, but the meat was delicious and lightly spicy. beautiful atmosphere, fast service and average to slightly above average prices. the menu is really extensive and there is something for everyone. an interesting foundation."
