"Small restaurant in the old town of Bergerac but what cuisine! If you have the opportunity to stop there, it’s a warm recommendation! Everything there was delicious, from the risotto to the gourmet coffee, including the tartare and the sweetbreads! Perfect cooking, quality ingredients, really a great table, all on a terrace surrounded by old buildings!"

"My friend and I who live near Bergerac invited two visiting Irish friends to meet us for lunch at this excellent restaurant where we have enjoyed several meals. I booked for 1pm and unfortunately our friends got lost trying to park and find the restaurant. I rang the restaurant at 1.15 and was about to explain and apologise for our lateness but could not get a word in. In rapid fire french I was told "desole" but our table was no longer available. We walked past a few minutes later and saw our table on the terrasse with the reserved sign still in place. I believed that the restaurant was open for lunch until 2.30 and it still was not 1.30. We were so disappointed and quite embarrassed too having to try and explain to our friends how this could happen. I think it should be explained that they will not accept anyone later than 1pm as we could have booked a bit earlier. The delay was unavoidable on our part and we were so upset."

"We went to L'Omelettaria for dinner with family and we were agreeably surprised by our experience there. Despite the fact that the restaurant was empty when we arrived which isn't that reassuring for a restaurant located in the very heart of the city, the owner was very friendly and welcomed us warmly. When it comes to the menu, options are varied; from omelets to salads and burgers, you can take your pick! There was also a correct amount of dessert options to choose from. As a pescatarian, I really appreciated the owner's thought of adding both vegetarian and pescatarian options to the menu which I believe and according to the menu we'd seen online weren't there before. Overall, the food was great: my mom and I both had the Atlantide omelet which consisted in an omelet filled with white asparagus and crème fraiche and topped with a slice of smoked salmon and lemon. My dad had the Paysanne omelet which was pretty filling; it was stuffed with mushrooms, cheese, potatoes and lardons. As for my sister, she had the Cheddar burger and it looked bomb. She loved it but couldn't finish it and honestly, I wouldn't have been able to finish it either because it was HUGE. Everything was served with a side of fries and salad which is nice and I NEED to mention that the fries are homemade and they are amazing. We thought we would still be hungry after dinner but it wasn't the case; considering the quality of the food and the fact that it is very filling, the prices are quite correct. Now, attention needs to be drawn towards the fact that the place in itself is not very noisy, but it is extremely close to a very busy street so it can get rapidly annoying. I do recommend this place, and I will absolutely do this again with friends in the summer after a few drinks at the bar which is a few steps away!"

"Les + : repas ni trop copieux, ni trop frugal (nous sommes de bons mangeurs et franchement nous avons eu assez); originalité relative des goûts (en restant de la nourriture classique, la sauce de la rascasse était très bonne, l'aiguillette aux fruits rouges était classiques), prix honnêtes (formule à 10 euros par plat pour chaque cocotte servi des féculents au fond de la cocotte, avec des légumes frais non travaillés à côté (bof) et une soupe (très bonne), serveuse jeune très sympa, une liste de dessert assez orignal (même si nous n'avons pas tester pour cause de temps), présence de chaise pour enfants, beau cadre sur la terrasseLes - : accueil lunatique de la patronne (nous avons reçu une bouteille d'eau avant d'avoir un bonjour, quand elle s'occupe de vous, elle est sympa mais quand vous n'êtes pas dans son champ d'action, le sourire disparaît), verre de vin blanc sec acceptable (mais pas fabuleux), lenteur excessive de la prise des commandes (service de table pas très bien organisé qui ralentit le tout). Conseil : essayez de lire la carte avant qu'elle ne vienne vous la présenter, question de pouvoir commander directement, ou sinon vous devez attendre une plombe qu'elle repasse près de votre table (vous êtes déjà contents quand elle passe), pensez à réserver également (il n'y a pas bcp de places)"
