"My family has been frequenting Central Park since it opened a few years ago. The food is consistently delicious and the fresh homemade cakes are to die for! The staff are friendly and attentive, always remembering our preferences and making time for a chat. The menu offers a variety of options and the special boards feature tasty new dishes. The prices are very reasonable. We bring our 9-month-old, who enjoys the children's menu and the highchairs and toys provided for little ones. The restaurant is dog-friendly and offers water for furry friends, with outdoor seating available for nice weather."

My son took me and had the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. I had a lovely piece of carrot cake to go with it. Well worth a visit. Small but perfectly formed. I ate outside as it was a beautiful day.

The restaurant was busy, but the service was slow and the soup was served cold. We mentioned it to the staff and they took it away, but they didn't bring a replacement or offer an explanation. The sandwiches were tasty, but they didn't leave a lasting impression.

We were recommended this cafe. Menu had good choices. Lovely day so sat outside but we didn't realise people would park right in front of the seating (not disabled) on what appeared to be the pavement. Cutlery and glass dirty. Soup was tasteless bread lovely. Didn't have a cake but did look tasty.

If you want a nice, friendly, tasty light lunch in pleasant surroundings, look no further than this place. The menu is limited but the quality is high, parking is easy and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. As a fund-raiser for Ayrshire Cancer Support it is doing it's bit for Kilmarnock as well Go!

Visited this cafe numerous times and never been disappointed however this morning for the first time had a takeaway and didn't realize till we got home that 3 bacon rolls had been served in seeded burger buns had I been advised of this I would not have purchased them also 3 half full cups of coffee wonder if this reflected on the fact we were not sitting in the cafe to eat.

Located away from the town center of Kilmarnock, this is a little corner shop cafe that you are sure of a warm welcome and a great cup of coffee. Was in the area with work and was feeling peckish, so stopped by for a coffee and a bacon roll, which were both freshly prepared in no time. Staff are really friendly and prices are excellent. Will most certainly be back again in future.

This coffee shop has a cozy atmosphere and offers ample indoor seating as well as a few tables outside for enjoying sunny weather. I have been here multiple times throughout the day and have always had a great experience. They serve delicious breakfasts and lunches, along with a variety of cakes for dessert, and have a wide selection of coffee options. The staff is very friendly, making it a must-visit spot!

Popped in for a lunch and didn’t realise the staff had organised a charity event for a local cancer support group, it was very busy but we managed to find a seat inside and enjoyed our lunch along with all the visitors for the Easter charity event. We enjoyed our coffees, teas and panini‘s, we found the staff to be attentive and friendly, food quality was good and price reasonable, definitely be back, well done everyone and hope you raised a lot of money for a great cause !

Visited Central Park today, to take part in a charity event organised by the owner. A great family Easter event which helped raise funds for Ayrshire Cancer Support. Absolutely cracking day and all staff were lovely with my young family. We had some time before the event to have some lunch and it was superb. Would thourougly recommend this Cafe to anyone visiting or local! Nice to see a local business taking an intrest in bringing the community together. Also the Cafe provided free drinks and chocolate to all the children who attended the event, very generous.

"My husband and I bought an itison voucher for brunch for £29 for The Sorn Inn. When we arrived at 12 we were the only ones in the restaurant. I ordered the eggs benedict with the sauce on the side and my husband ordered the full scottish breakfast. We had to wait a while, I'm unsure how long exactly but we weren't too bothered as we thought our food was all being made fresh. When it arrived, my husband's food look really nice. No complaints there. My eggs benedict consisted of 2 cold toasted slices of bloomer bread. One with 1 slice of fried bacon on it and the other with 1 poached egg. The hollandaise sauce was in fact mayonnaise. I called the waitress over and told her this wasn't what I ordered. I ordered eggs benedict which was stated on the menu as a toasted muffin, ham and poached eggs with a hollandaise sauce. She was lovely. She apologised and said she would take it back to the kitchen. After she done this she returned and said that there was no muffins left and would I like to order something else. By this point my husband was halfway through his breakfast. Why was eggs benedict even on the menu if there were no muffins?? I told the waitress I would have the full scottish breakfast then. By this time there was 2 other tables filled and the eggs benedictwas still being sold. Our waitress brought me over another coffee while I waited on my breakfast. It wasn't quick. It was alright when it arrived. But not great. The toast was still cold and there wasn't any butter. Zoe our waitress was wonderful. Whatever the owners are paying her, just isn't enough. She was apologetic, attentive and calm under pressure. Why didn't the chef tell Zoe to take the eggs benedict off the menu as it was still being sold when we were leaving. What kind of chef thinks cold toast, bacon and mayo is eggs benedict? We have been to the Sorn Inn on numerous times before and the food has been outstanding. Such a shame as we do like to eat out and support local and smaller restaurants but we won't be hurrying back."
