I was on a business trip and wanted to stay as local as possible! Found this absolute gem!!!! One of the best duck curries I have ever had, small but very friendly and offer take out and delivery!

Netter laden. Kleiner Familienbetrieb mit freundlichen Angestellten. Ambiente könnte etwas besser sein. Uns wurden Gabeln gereicht ohne Frage ob auch Stäbchen gehen. Nachwürzen auf dem Tisch fehlte (Soyasoße usw. . Wenn ich in der Nähe bin, würde ich definitiv wieder vorbei kommen.

When you're in need of some good food on a business trip and the hotel food is not so great. A short walk away we find China Man, looks like a takeaway from the outside but venture in and there are a few tables to...sit down and eat at. Unable to fault the quality of the food. Always tastes great, good portions at a very reasonable price.

We stayed in a nearby hotel and seen this on TA and decided to try it. It's a small Chinese takeaway, although there is a table for inside which you can sit in and eat. Me and my son both got chicken satay for...starters and then he had chicken chow mein and I had singapore chow mein (which were both very large portions). We then had a coke each. A rough total of was good value. Very nice staff who also speak good English. Would recommend if your in the area.

Die Gastfreundschaft ist kaum zu überbieten, super nette Bedienung , daher 5 Sterne im Service Bereich. Was mir negativ aufgestoßen ist, war das Essen. Zwar waren die Portionen für den Preis sehr gut, nur war das Essen eher fad und geschmacklos. Die Süß-Sauer-Soße war viel zu süß. Der Reis oder die Nudeln teilweise kalt, das Huhn zu lange frittiert und die Ente eher schwabbelig. Alles in allem bin ich zwar satt geworden, aber eine Geschmacksexplosion war das nicht. Dennoch für den Preis in der heutigen Zeit fair. Es gibt deutlich Schlechteres!

Having stayed at the Renaissance hotel for far longer than is good for any person I got very used to a regular China Man. In fact the whole project team could be found there in various nights. It’s effectively a takeaway with a few tables...in the back. Dad cooks most of the food, the son takes orders and delivers whilst mum sits you down and then watches tv on the internet. Why keep going back??? Well... the food is just very good. Nothing special or fancy but tasty and good quality. Even the Thai curries taste like the real thing. So I might not go out of my way to eat here but if you’re staying in one of the local hotels and don’t want to venture far you won’t go wrong here.

I stay in the Mercure quite often, it is a great hotel however after a while with the limited menu you crave a change. I looked for what was near in walking distance found this little gem. China Man is a minute...walk at first I thought it was a takeaway but then noticed a few tables inside. He speaks good English even has an English menu. Good selection of food drink nothing is a problem. When the food arrived after only a short wait you can watch it being cooked right in front of you, it was to die for. Very flavoursome a generous portion. Fantastic place, my new regular on a Thursday evening. Last thing no cards it’s cash only but very reasonable price you can get a receipt if on expenses...
