Would give 5 stars, but the app leaves only full vegan restaurants 5! All vegi options can be made vegan and there were tons of options. Many different intresting dishes that do not appear on standard Indian menus. 100% would eat here again!

absolutely beautiful non-Veg thali. each dish had its own unique taste from the subtle flavors. I didn't have such good thali since I was india. very friendly service of smiling waitress also. the house wine was somewhat thin, but I will not take a star of the amazing food.

This Southern Indian restaurant in York, GB serves sumptuous hot, tasty and good food to meet everyone’s palate. You can request if you want your dishes less spicy. The portion size is just right and they are reasonably priced. Do pay them a visit. I enjoyed the food during winter

Mouth watering authentic South Indian cuisine! Ordered masala dosa, idli, gobi manchurian, chicken curry and rice. Everything tasted delicious! The restaurant decor and ambience makes you feel like you are in India! Very friendly staff. The owner herself came to ask if everything was ok which was very courteous. Highly recommend and would definitely go again.

Wow what a wonderful dining experience! From the moment we walked in to the restaurant the staff were so attentive but without any pressure. The food was perfectly cooked with good sized portion's and the flavours were out of this world. We were recommended the devil's chicken and with good reason! Mouth watering is an understatement. Price's were more than reasonable for the level of service and quality of the food. Thank you Coconut Lagoon for the best evening.

we come here regularly as the menu is varied and delicious. recommended are the Coli-65 started (as it is called, and the dosas, but all the sweet curries I've ever had are really well done and authentic. the waiters are informed about vegan nutrition and will tell them what is vegan and what can be made vegan. update: we ordered from here during the lockdown and it was always delicious. the last time they gave us a free puttu, which we had for breakfast (see photo). updated by previous review on 2020-02-10

Really good South Indian food – some of it served with a bit more elegance than what you would typically expect from an Indian restaurant. We started with Chicken 65 and Beef Dry Fry, both of which were served really elegantly. Portions were smaller than in most places but really more suitable as starters that way. Both were very delicious and a good start to the meal. My partner had a really nice Masala Dosa while I had the Appam and Kuttanadan Duck Curry. This was a really delicious meal and the tangy appam bread went really well with the slightly sweet curry sauce. We had coconut rice on the side.
