"With possibly great ingredients being used the chefs seem to overcomplicate dishes with an abundance of other flavours which are not well balanced and quite frankly overpower the main star of the dish. I had the scallops to start which were cooked well however the Vol au vant on the side was completely unnecessary and the filling was not particularly pleasant. My partner had the venison tartare the meat of the venison had an extremely sour taste to it rather like vinegar the curry sauce that was mixed through the noodles underneath was way too spicy for the meat there for all that you could taste was the spice. This is extremely disappointing for such a beautiful ingredient such as venison. We had the tomahawk steak sharing plate four main course Although this was cooked to the temperature requested it was unfortunate that the meat was again overpowered by the huge amounts of roasted garlic that they had clearly cooked it with. A beautiful piece of meat such as this does not need to be disguised or flavoured in such a way again very disappointing."

We absolutely love this brasserie for lunch or dinner. Have visited a few times now with many more bookings planned. Good for small groups, two people or a catch up with a few friends. Amazing menu, staff and service.

The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was cooked and we couldn't have been happier. Staff at the service were extremely helpful and polite with our waiter even the time to help us get some cocktails. We enjoyed our dinner very much and will definitely go back soon.

Staff are friendly, starters are very tasty and the mains were portioned well and delicious. The restaurant atmosphere was warm and dark, with soft oldies playing in the background. We had a very good time there and had some lovely cocktails at the Piano Bar next door after. All in all a great experience and value for money.

My boyfriend took me here for my 20th birthday a few months ago and asked them to make it a little extra special for me to which when we arrived they reserved the best table in the room for us : The food was beautifully presented and tasted quite nice. Lovely menu with many innovative options. Did feel a little underdressed there so make sure to suit up!

We had a fantastic night at Contrast and Glenmoriston for our annual friends' Christmas night out! We were a party of 13 so not the easiest to manage but Ben and his colleagues were excellent! They were very attentive throughout our meal and very accommodating throughout the night. The meal was fantastic, as were the many cocktails we had! We ended the night in the fabulous Piano Bar! We couldn't fault our night at all and would definitely recommend Contrast and Glenmoriston to others!

Small romantic restaurant overlooking the river Ness. AMAZING FOOD!!! They have an early bird dinner special 2 course 18 pounds and 3 course for 21 pounds. Delicious complimentary starter bread served with 3 different toppings/dips on the side. We had the soup of the day- creamy leaks cream. One of us ordered the steak and the other the catch of the day. Both were AMAZING!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BREAD PUDDING for the final course . The lemon merengue is good too. Wish I could have shared pictures, but ate it before I even realized I hadn't shared with you. Great experience for the price. Dinner was amazing. Breakfast is a hit or miss- depending on what you order. Do not recommend the Scottis...
