We went to the weekly market in Cogolin, From the market we saw a lovely garden with big trees and palms, like an oase in the middle of the village. The staff was 'functional friendly ', but there was not enough staff for smooth service. The staff worked really hard but couldn 't prevent some waiting time. We had the burger and salad Cesar California. The burger was good and the fries were excellent. The Cesar salad came with big shrimp and tasted good. But we expected more ingredients then just shrimp, romaine salad, flakes of cheese, croutons and a dressing. Nevertheless, we would recommend Cote Jardin.

We discovered this lovely place during our previous visit in 2019 and went back again this summer. The garden is quite big and shady with very nice outdoor decorations and lights in the trees. It is not big (would say around 10 or so tables), but enough to be quite difficult to tend to when full. Both owners and the only waitress are doing their best to make waiting time as short as possible. Food is tasty, but nothing extraordinary. Still, a great place to return to and spend some time in the shade of the tall trees sipping on a cold glass of something. The only down point is that garden is covered with a dusty layer of earth. Not so pleasant to tread on in summer.

Bang in the centre of one of my favourite towns is this little gem. We've heard of friends and family visiting the restaurant over the years and this year decided to give it a go.This morning their phone was permanently busy, so on our way to the beach we decided to call in and check it out. It was market day, but the traders were starting to pack up, so we timed it just right.We were greeted by very friendly owners and staff and managed to book ourselves a table for the evening.
