"This restaurant is about 100m down the hill from our Pension. We walked in an were greeted by a waitress in traditional dress. We were shown to our tables and when they realised we were English gave us a comprehensive menu in English (not the complete menu though). We were given a salad starter accompanied with bread and herb butter. Which was a bonus as we only ordered a main course. We both chose a Venison main dish both were delicious. My venison was served in a rich gravy with spätzle and cranberry sauce. My husband had venison with potato hazelnut dumplings in a sauce. Hubby had house red and I had a medium sweet white. Both were good quality. Nice atmosphere. Good was well presented and full of taste. We shared a dessert of walnut ice cream in a liqueur which finished the meal off a treat. With tip the meal came to €70 which we thought was reasonable for this quality of dining. A very enjoyable meal. Would recommend this restaurant."

"The Treschers hotel is among the top in Titisee. The receptionists are professional, the waiters friendly but busy as the hotel is often fully booked. So if you think about a booking, do it very very much in advance (over a month)! The rooms are good and we recommend to book one with lake side view and balcony. With regard to the Restaurants (they have different ones), the kitchen is ok, but we do not rate it top. It may well be that as the place is usually fully booked that the staff is just a bit overloaded with too many tasks to handle. A Chateaubriand (the double steak from the middle of the beef filet) which is a prestigeous peace of meat (highest and best quality) is a meal for two persons and the meat should be served "medium rare". But if you asked for "medium rare" and finally get it served "well done" then it is a sad thing if you have to eat or chew it as it makes a hell of a difference. So we guess the dish was just much too long in the kitchen before it got to us - so it was overcooked. The good thing was, that the lady that served us was very friendly with a sweet smile so it helped to overlook the mistake and not ruin the evening.With regard to the Winelist, you will find a variety of good Wines and Champagne at reasonable prices. Enjoy.One thing which may be good to know: If you cannot be guest of the hotel because it is overbooked, you can still access the Bar and Restaurant. With regard to the SPA, the hotel has a special policy that as a non guest you cannot access the SPA area (sauna, steam bath etc) but you can go for beauty treatments."

"We were booked in May 2023 for 2 nights in 2 double rooms. I was present for one night. The “wellness hotel” declared by HRS was quite old and did not have an open indoor swimming pool and the day before our arrival we found out at short notice that the restaurant was also closed. We deliberately chose the hotel because of its own restaurant... The telephone availability was catastrophic, the owner justified this by saying that guests would often call for weather information from Tititsee. The owner, Mr. Franz, also assured me over the phone that they would accommodate the costs of my two dogs due to the inconvenience of the restaurant being closed. Since I was still of the old school when it came to the spoken word, I trusted his words and didn't take them in writing. When we left, however, the receptionist denied him that he wasn't in the house, but I had already seen him at breakfast. The lady at the reception told me that the boss had changed his mind and that there was no concession regarding the costs for 2 dogs. Cowardly act by an dishonest hotelier. I have never experienced anything like it. I travel privately and for business at least 180 days a year! So I paid 30.00 euros for one night in this flophouse for 2 small dogs. In comparison, the 5 star Hotel Roomers in Baden-Baden charges 29 euros for the 2 Yorkshire Terriers. The selection at breakfast is positive. The cleanliness in the room left something to be desired, there were black hairs in the freshly made bed. There was a used, probably unwashed blanket full of hair for the dogs. Conclusion: ONCE and NEVER again Rooms: If you don't value cleanliness, this is the place for you. Nearby activities: The thermal baths are in the immediate vicinity Walkability: Central location in Titisee"

"Zunächst zu den positiven Aspekten:- Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien - solides Essen- angemessene Preise- Portionsgrösse auch für Leute mit gutem Appetit geeignetNegativ:- lange Wartezeiten beim Service- Steht der Schweinskrustenbraten auf der Karte, dann erwartet man als Gast einen Braten mit einer Kruste. Wenn die nicht gelungen ist, was passieren kann, dann kann man den Gast zumindest informieren oder ihm eine Alternative anbieten. Auf Nachfrage beim Service wurde die Kruste serviert, die nicht gelungen war und deshalb beim ersten Mal nicht rausging. Beim Abräumen fragte der Kellner, ob wir zufrieden gewesen wären. Meine Begleitung sagte, dass sie sich sehr auf den Braten gefreut hatte und daher nicht 100% zufrieden sei. Der Kellner versprach als Entschädigung einen Espresso, der auch serviert wurde. Bald darauf informierte er uns jedoch, dass seine Kollegin den Espresso nicht genehmigen würde und wir den bezahlen müssten. Ansonsten bot er uns den Umweg über den Geschäftsführer an. Da er sich mit der Aktion um sein eigenes Trinkgeld gebracht hatte, haben wir von dem Vorschlag abgesehen.Lieber Geschäftsführer, bitte den Service besser instruieren, dann gibt es auch wieder Trinkgeld. Die schlechte Bewertung mag hart erscheinen, aber wir haben uns leider sehr veralbert gefühlt. Dennoch gehe ich davon aus und hoffe, dass das ein Einzelfall war."

"We visited this hotel in the afternoon to inquire about dinner that night. It is perfectly located on the lake with a beautiful terrace right near the water. Speaking to Tina who organises tables in the restaurant, we found out they were fully booked. However once she knew it was my husbands birthday she arranged a suitable time for us to come and dine. On arrival we were shown to a beautifully decorated candlelit table and quickly served by our waiter Stjepan who was courteous and suitably attentive. The 5 course meal was delicious and such a pleasant surprise in this tourist town. I thoroughly recommend a meal at Seehotel Wiesler. The elderly owner also came along to greet us. Such amazing attention to detail especially when we breezed in at such short notice."
