absolutely terrible eating, ordered a lamb madras and received 4 pieces lamb in some very watery, bland liquid. ends up throwing it away and just kicked me back never go again

Take away from Crawcrook Tandoori during lock down fantastic! The usual great food at a great price . Worth every penny . Thanks for a lovely meal can’t wait until the restaurant will be able to reopen.

nice to take. the eating is filled with taste and when a dish says hot it actually means hot, e.g. madras my go to and they should know that they had a curry when they ate it and this place nails it in front of the place. can't wait until they open again to sit on how I'm there like a flash Visualizza piatti

takeaway eat starter tweebel bhaji (dry and cooked) and huhn tikka (bland and tasteless) main meal lamb balti that was ok (the 2 stars), but I would not be back for poppadome were soft almost as yesterday, my wife had the...vegetable curry good she had about the half and threw away the rest, so I would recommend no.

Covid was taken very seriously in the restaurant. Staff were wearing masks and every menu was cleaned as soon as it was returned. The food was exceptional. I love Indian food and am normally slightly critical. But this was beautiful. We both ate everything and...you do get good portions. Service was very good .with really pleasant staff. I will definitely be back soon.

Took full advantage of the eat out to help out scheme by visiting this local Indian restaurant that I hadn't visited for years. It didn't disappoint! Small cosy but still maintaining social distancing rules. Despite being very busy the service was swift, the staff...were efficient and the food was excellent. We ate at this restaurant this evening and had an excellent meal. I had the chicken sabzi which was delicious. The sides were delicious (mushroom bhaji, onion bhaji, sag aloo, mushroom pilau and garlic naan) and also the chicken tikka Marsala. Everything tasted very fresh,...service was excellent and staff very friendly. This was a great choice, and the COVID precautions made us feel extremely comfortable too. Highly recommend.

we haven't eaten here since 2019 because of covid, so it was a great joy to return recently when visiting my sister. we were early enough to qualify for the early evening menu, which was as lovely as ever! my hubby ordered from the main menu and had a fabulous meal! the service was delightful, eating excellent and as always jay was the perfect host. he remembered us from 2019, a loan to him and the restaurant! nice to see you again, jay!

I called in here for a take away butter chicken I was absolutely starving and looking forward to eating this, however as soon as I opened the carton my heart sank. The sauce was a light yellow colour like custard and runny in consistency....I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tasted it pure cream! No other flavour at all. It went straight in the bin. It was late so no option of returning to the restaurant. I called in the next day with photos, and was even more disappointed in the reception I received. I was told butter chicken is supposed to be like that, and it doesn’t have spices?! I love this dish and have had it many times before in other restaurants, as well as making it myself from...
