Creams Cafe - Menu

It was alright. The workers need to speak louder. Food should be nice. Shame I couldn't hear enough to order properly.

They have a wide range of flavours. My favourite was bubblegum icecream. Inside the shop is a bit dark, that maybe their theme. Kids might get scared.

The presentation was disappointing and the prices were too high for the quality. I've had a better Oreo milkshake at another place. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Most disappointing was the fact that we couldn't eat together. The time it took to get our desserts, 4 of us in our party and each dessert came separately, with the last almost as the first person had finished. The whole point of paying for over priced ice cream is for the event the chance to enjoy dessert together. They weren't even busy about as many staff as customers. Also during this pandemic, you have to join the queue to place your order whether you eat in or take away (no table service).

I dont usually write review but this place deserved to have one. The waiter was rude and didnt say a word jist plonked the plate on the table and walked off. This was after and hour waiting outside to get in and a further long wait inside for our pancakes. Me and my partner have had an awful time and would recommend somewhere else like maccies where you can actually speak to somebody and get a response. Not one good thing I could say apart from the eat out help out scheme halfing the price which has nothing to do with them running a business. I would never spend £40 in this place.

I have visited Creams Reading twice now and had a fantastic experience both times. I have also been to other branches, but the service and food at Creams Reading surpass them all. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. The service is incredibly fast, with the staff even apologizing for a short wait of about 5 minutes, which was surprising compared to waiting over 30 minutes at other branches, even when they were not busy. I will only be coming to Creams Reading for my dessert fix from now on, and would definitely recommend it over other branches to anyone looking for a delicious treat.

As a food hygienist, it was disturbing to see my food being handled without any protective hygiene equipment. The workers were not wearing gloves or aprons, and I did not see anyone washing their hands. I spoke to the manager, a vocal Latina woman, about my concerns. She continued to touch her hair, rub her eyes, and prepare food without wearing a hairnet. The male workers were also handling food with bare hands and not following proper hygiene practices. The Latina girl mentioned that the owner did not require them to wear gloves or hairnets, only to wash their hands, but this did not happen. I recorded this conversation to report to the Reading Council. Strong measures need to be taken imm...

Food was ok but some of the service was TERRIBLE!! I asked for a Banana Scoff Crepe and was served a Nutty Banoffee waffle. Upon raising this with the waitress she point blank argued I didn’t specify I wanted a vegan crepe and simply asked for “a banana one” ?! She also claimed she wasn’t looking at me when I ordered so didn’t see me point to it on the menu. I tried explaining there is no other item on the menu called a Banoffee Scoff Crepe which is what I asked for, being vegan I’m always super careful with what I order and that maybe she should have been paying more attention. She stormed off saying she’d speak to her manager, but that it was my fault and they may not be able to do anythin...

I was in Reading to view an office building. It was a warm day so i popped in to the bearby Creams in Reading on my way to the car park. Ive visited many Creams in towns all over the South East and this one has the same expensive design and big store size. Sadly this one also had the rudest most surly inefficient staff ive ever come across. As an employer myself of some 40 plus staff I wonder how this business will survive with such staff. I wemt to order as per attached receipt) cookie dough...immediately the man behind the counter was ignoring me talking with his friend behind me....than arrogantly with no hello no eye contact he asked me for my order....I told him in clear concise terms t...
