"I had to write my first review because of this restaurant. It was, to say the least, spectacular. The potato with caviar and creme fresh was unbelievable. The freshly made blinis with salmon that defies everything I've tasted, were sublime. I had a few shots of the pepper vodkas throughout the meal, and I recommend you do the same. The feel is old school social club with deep reds and warm wood surrounding. Just a pleasure of a place. The owner was very, very friendly. Service was good. Not cheap, but completely worth it."

The smoked salmon and the blinis are as I remembered them, excellent . The bortsch and the pirojkis however were not good and need to be really improved Excellent vodka and friendly service

Red velvet decorated this cosy Russian delicatessen (more than restaurant) will “offer” all the caviar, salmon eggs and taramas you dream off. The numerous Russian and Polish vodka brands served with your order will make you a little dizzy. A good feeling when it is time to pay your bill.

I'm from Russia and I have some ideas about the Russian cuisine. 3 'Siberian pelmeni' in semi-warm broth, 2 microscopic blini with 0,5 gram of fish eggs, and dessert with some vodka (why at dessert time)? would not qualify as 'Russian cuisine' even if it's a gastro, gourmand, etc. place. One-off. Never again. Oh, by the way, the bill for this was around 60eur per person.
